Im 26 years Old and Im 5'1" yes im short with some lbs on me..
i weight 164 and im trying to get to 115 - 120ish.. i have two children and trying to loose loose loose these lbs.. i had very horrible eating habits.. but since May 4th i have been on a diet eating about 800 calories even some days less.. with excercise..
This week need motivation, Eating right but not as much work out!
If you need to loose about 40lbs... I would love to give support as well..
hi there! i'm 28 and looking to loose about 40lbs as well. my first goal is to get to 155, right now i'm a little less than 180. i'm 5'6.
i am also fighting some bad eating habits - mostly snacking when im bored or something.
how are things going for you and what are you doing to shed the pounds?
the weather here in nj has cleared up a lot so it's a good excuse to get outdoors and walk... how bout you?

Im doing the scarsdale diet this is my last week its two weeks on two weeks off. My intake is up to 800 calories.. Im eating healthy but your right snacks are really hard!! LOL but i avoid them.. I hit that point where i can do it no more!! The weight was 170 or 168ish.. So i put my foot down thats it!!!!
Im In NC, and Im from Boston..
I work out in the AM for about 45 mins on a Gazzelle and i also run in my back yard and Push Ups (25) V Ups (50) Crunches (100) I sit all day at work in front of a computer so I take about 10 mins in the bathroom and do a couple of lunges and Squats to keep my body moving a little.. So far its going great!!
I have to admit the snacks look delicious .. I has some of the baked pot. chips not as bad as the reg. so dont feel SOOOO Bad!!! LOL
I dont do the outdoors bc i have 2 boys and i have my yard and my machine but i think that would be a great start.. I tried it but then when it would rain i would get stuck and just get back to my "I CANT ROUTINE" SO im trying to avoid that This time!!!!
it's important to know yourself, so the no outdoors policy sounds pretty smart.
my butt is killing me today! usually i do 30 min of step aerobics and 30 min of yoga but yesterday i did 2 hrs of speed walking and i feel it. haha wouldn't have expected it but walking works a different set of muscles than the step aerobics i guess. the yoga i just started recently and it feels amazing - the stretches and also i feel it toning - which i didnt expect.
i probably started out at 200lbs. i was working in a bad situation - my boss sexually harassed several female co-workers... so i think i put on the weight as a defense mechanism. but i quit that job and decided to go back to school and just work part-time. i've lost almost 20lbs since i left that job but i'm not quite where i want to be.
i've never been to nc but i hear it's nice. i enjoy boston quite a bit and imagine it must be very different where you live now! especially the weather?
i've changed my snacking quite a bit. i'm trying to keep the house stocked with fruits... and i found these really low cal low fat polish cookies that have just enough chocolate to satisfy the craving. they have helped too!
keep in touch! i have a good feeling that we'll be able to get each other through this and reach (or beat) our goals!!!

don't laugh but i've been using the yoga on wii fit as well as the strength training exercises. i was researching some different workout dvd's and the ones i thought looked cool (fit in your jeans by friday) used most of the workouts on the wii fit. i do the yoga at home and it has improved my balance SO MUCH! i have really bad allergies which make me dizzy fairly often. the yoga has helped with that a lot. i also use light weights (5lbs for each arm) and do either walking or the step aerobics with those to help tone. i guess it's about mixing it up - or so i've been told.
800 cal is super low! you don't feel tired or anything? my doctor said that if i want to lose weight to stick to a 1200 cal diet and i guess it's working... slowly but steadily at least. no yo-yoing up and down and that is encouraging.
i live with my fiancee and our dog... but he is just thin by nature. he can eat wendy's or mcdonald's every night and not gain a pound so i've been working on him to look at it from a health perspective not a weight perspective.

I heard about the WII Fit we have a WII for our kids so maybe i should invest.. LOL
As for the 800 calories ... No i dont feel tired.. but i do make sure i get all the nutrients i need .. This is my last week on the 800 then i have to move up to 1200 or more.. It just depends how much your working out to.. If you do work out alot then you must up your calorie intake.. But so far i dont feel hungry and i have lots of energy..
I do need some toninig around my stomach and inner thighs and arms thats my problem .. I will invest in some weights and WII FIT!!!
Thanks a bunch!! i would suggest that if your working out alot more speak to your DR. bc you might need more intake of calories..
2 hours of speed walking is alot of burning!!
As far as my hubbie he is the same way as yours.. all the junk they can have and NO GAINING.. Im trying to let him see it also as his health perspective.. BC even though he is skinny when he was in the navy he had a high Cholesterol
so thats what i mean about health wise!!
Hey I need some support as well I need to lose 40lbs as well I just feel so uncomfortable in my own skin. I have been eatting 800 calories as well and sometime it kills me. I have 2 kids as well and they are a handful between my sons soccer t-ball and flag football its crazy. I just had my little girl 2 months ago and HATE that the weight is still on me.

I have to butt in here real quick because I read that you only eat 800 calories.
1. As a female your calorie should not be less than 1200 calories in a day. While your are saying that you are not feeling tired, you may be hurting yourself quite a bit....
2. Taking in too little calories makes losing weight a lot slower because your body won't let go of anything when it thinks that it is "Starving"
I am not wanting to sound "Preachy" but I know from experience that it is VERY IMPORTANT to do this the right and healthy way...that way you can really change your life around....
In the tools you can figure out pretty easily what your calorie intake should be...

You definitely need to eat more than 1200... 1200 is what you eat WITHOUT exercise for a female adult. Of course every body is different but you really ought to eat more and maybe think about calorie dense food such as nuts, peanut butter, avocado (though high in fat but HEALTHY fats) that way you don't feel like you ate a lot, just an idea. As for the Wii Fit, it can be worth it if you put in what you get. I usually do 3 or 4 sets of the exercise itself and you will unlock a lot of fun balance, strength, yoga and aerobic games. If you want to know more about it, feel free to ask. :)

breakfast was a good one - oatmeal and a hot blueberry green tea with some honey. have you tried that? do you like green tea? it is sooo yummy! what's a normal breakfast for you?

I was on this diet and today is my last day on it i so far have lost 5 lbs and havent did a weight in so i will keep you posted...

yes, we do all need some motivation. i always have a few days a week where i just dont feel up to exercising or that my allergies are wicked and dont feel well but i just keep telling myself this is the only way i'll feel better and it usually pushes me through!
any time you are not feeling motivated, just let me know! i'll do my best to get you perked up!!

YES!! I fogot how it was like since my oldest is 7. But Jeesh sometimes YES! Its really terrible but overall he is a pretty good kid! Alot of Energy that i wish i had.. LOL

Well today I just got into work. I worked 16 hours yesterday and well for breakfest only coffee so far. I am getting a late start in the day. I ushally only try to intake about 800 calories as well but, yesterday only took in about 650 because all work no play oh ya and no FOOD here.
On weekends thats when I get the most of my exercise in. During the week it's take son to school- work-fight traffic- cook-tball or soccer practice-bed oh and rest with my little 2 month year old. And dont forget the cleaning the laundry and the dog. Always on the go... It wears me out. I wish I could just work out but then when im on the couch I rather take a nap.. But this calorie counting seems to be working so we will see.![]()

YOU have alot on your hands!!! you need to make sure you get some food in your body!! your actual doing all that... too me its a HUGE work out!!! DOnt you think log it in and you will se what your burning.. I know what you mean its like that at my house as well.. be very careful .. would hate for you to faint or something bc not enough nutrients in your body!!

I work in the IT field with computers and software. Sometimes when there is a dead line that mean a DEAD LINE....
I have been snacking here and there but just on celery mainly and sometimes fruit the company profides fruit so thats a good snack... I have been logging it and I just feel I can do so much more. I do drink a lot of water each day. But, ya a vacation is soon to come for me thats why I want to get back to my old self. SOON...
My name is Just Amanda though. Everyone at work thinks I am super mom but, I always think I can do so much more then what I am. I guess it's cause they all have about 15 years on me. They just think I am so young and have so much youth... LOL
wow, 800? 650? I don't think I'd be able to move from my bed! I try to stay between 1500 and 1800 and still have energy problems sometimes! Anyone eating in that range and want to help motivate each other?
