Im 26 years Old and Im 5'1" yes im short with some lbs on me..

i weight 164 and im trying to get to 115 - 120ish.. i have two children and trying to loose loose loose these lbs.. i had very horrible eating habits.. but since May 4th i have been on a diet eating about 800 calories even some days less.. with excercise..

 

This week need motivation, Eating right but not as much work out!

If you need to loose about 40lbs... I would love to give support as well..

I'm 20 and really struggle with the snacking...I want to know if anyones have any suggestions.

I'm looking to lose 40 lbs. I'm really trying....I've have so much struggle over the past year with trying to battle depression and I found away, eating. I'm trying to change that now.....I'm very open for suggestions.

OMG I just got on the scale and I have lost 5 pounds this week. So in two weeks it's 9lbs... WE CAN DO THIS... it's not as hard as I thought it would be.. BUT IT Is the weekend... Everyone Good Luck.. Have a wonderful weekend talk to you gals on Monday... Laughing

hi allycat

i completely understand about the snacking... tell me some things you like and maybe we can work around them in a healthier way.  for example, you can eat trail mix with some dried fruit and almonds and throw in some dark chocolate m&m's.  mix single servings in ziploc bags and eat a little baggie then force yourself to be done.

as you can tell, earlier we were talkinga bout smoothies.  mix some fruit and ice and you can make sorbet (i think it's called) or some skim milk and a little chocolate syrup and you will have yourself a great smoothie!  salsa isnt all bad, especially if you make your own.  dip veggies in that instead of chips.

you can totally do this... it's just about modifying your current diet to replace some of your unhealthy food choices for healthier ones.

don't lose heart!  be proud of yourself for wanting a healthier life.  give yourself credit for how far you've come and remind yourself of these things every time you go to grab a snack.

plus... if you can drink more water as our friend amanda has suggested, that will make you feel full faster.  i've read that most of the time we think we are hungry is actually our body saying its thirsty!

Thanks so much! I am actually going to give your suggestions a try. I also heard that taking things like mini carrots and putting them in a ziploc baggie actually forces you to eat single servings versus almost the whole bag :) I might try and do that with all of my snack to keep the snackin to a minimum. Water isn't actually a problem because I actually enjoy water...especially how it makes me feel, makes me feel cleansed. That and green tea with a sugar and a bit of lemon makes for a great tasting treat.

I am going to take your advice, I'm so happy there's so many people on here! I will keep posted!

Well GIRLS!!! I stepped on the scale and lost 3 Lbs... YAY!!! its going!!! i actually got up to workout on Sat. morning and felt Great!!! also ate Healthy stayed under 1,200 calories... and i feel great about it!!!

I have a question though??? I made some homemade Lasagna on Friday i had a serving but felt SUPER sick after it.. What could it be i know i was eating really healthy i have to say i used no grease but then the ground beef does always have some fat.. Im just wondering if my stomach is so use to not eating it that it was just all blah!!! Does this happen to anyone??

Overall it was a Great weekend!! I HOPE ALL OF YOU HAD A GREAT ONE TOO!!!

Girl I have like 30 more pounds to go I am 175 now. I want to get down to at least 140. Um I never get sick after eatting something not as healthy but, I do get fool faster.

sounds like you both had a great weekend!  my weekend was pretty good, too.  nothing interesting to tell though.

sometimes i get stomach problems when i eat food with a high fat content... but i have a funny stomach. 

this week i start a new semester and i'll be away for a few days to go see my aunt graduate college... so if i dont respond  or i dont write as often, i'm sorry!  this is one of those weeks...

dinner tonight is butternut squash, roasted chicken breast, and some brown rice.  i am really in love with brown rice! and i'm so glad watermelon is back around - ooh, yummm!

Tonight Dinner for me is Chicken Breast and Rice with some salad! and Water!!! Probably pick up some Fresh watermelon since you mentioned im craving!!! LOL

I know what you mean all this weight was easy putting on but hard to take off. Well tonight for dinner is going to be out of a box healthy choice maybe I have to work real late so I wont be able to cook. My Hun has a softball game so he and the kids will probably pick something up like PIZZA. I on the other hand will be fine because I bought some good choices this time.

Well when I went to the store I bought some ground turkey and it had a recepit for stuffed zuchinnie that looked real good. So tomorrow ill cook it and let you know how it was. Have a good night. I have to get back to work..

BTW it rained over here so I was unable to go yard sale shopping.

ground turkey is pretty good actually... i make meat loaf and mix spinach in with it.  very good.  you can add a little grated cheese to the mixture for added taste as well!

Hi My name is Kristen. I am trying to go from 173 down to 135. I need a buddy too. I have tried so many times to loose weight and every time I just stop. I dont think about it I just do. But I am now 21 with back fat and Grandma arms which is not normal for me and I dont even have the excuse of kids, I just overeat. I hate it. Be My Buddy

I would love to be your diet buddy. Well I never keep a diet for some reason as well. I need to lose just about as much as you do and trust me it's hard at times but since I have been on it I am great after losing the first 9lbs so fast it makes me feel as if I can do this.

How was your morning? So far I drank my smoothy king meal replacement and I am good to go. Last night I ran and over sleep and was late for work... GRRRRRRRRRR sucks but hey Im here....

we have a great group going here so i have a really good feeling that if you stay motivated and keep people around you who are motivated, then you will achieve your fitness goals!

it's hard and frustrating and so easy to stray from the goal - i do it often enough myself - but it helps me to have people who are working toward a similar goal and have the same temptations and know the struggles.

i hope i can help you too!

i try to plan healthy yummy dinners to keep me focused... tonight i will broil a flank steak and stuff it with tomato and squash and eggplant.  probably butternut squash on the side.  (i forgot to make the squash last night) a little goat cheese smeared inside the steak... :-) yummm...

Yea im ready for a change to be now with our two boys were are just trying to see what is best for them and not us u kno!

Nursing i have loved it since i could remember... HR.. not for me to much to handle my BF is HR and WOW is it some load... I dont know i want to be able to own my own little company as both my parents do, so nursing would just be bc i have always wanted it!

NY we visit alot.. i love it.. Boston is my home town and my sisters and brothers live there so i miss home bunches and my family!

Amanda what part of TX? WOW my dad and my little sister live in Dallas, My parents went through a divorce when we moved to TX due to my dads company it was better in TX than Boston more market so we left and my dad and sister ended up living there my mom in NC.

I did go to high school out there but i didnt really like it i do have lots of friends there and planning to go soon to visit my dad and sister!
