Hi Everyone

I am new to here. 

I am looking to sensibly reduce my calories and thereby lose some weight and would love to have 1 or a couple of people who are interested in checking up on each other each day to see how we are going, keep each other motivated and be a little competitive to see who has stuck to their plan.

Can you let me know if you are interested, obviously its probably first come first served as will struggle to keep up with more than a few people.

Also I am based in London so someone from my part of the planet would be good.

Hello there! I live just 30 miles south of London in the Guildford area. Would love to have someone to check in with - never really thought of trying this before.

I'm 21, 5'7 and 166lbs. My metabolism has totally changed and I'm looking to make a healthy lifestyle choice now that I've entered the overweight section of the BMI scale (I know, not massively over the line, but since I'm still gaining I want to nip this in the bud now). I've gained 2 stone in the last 6 months because I just can't stop eating! But y'know, I could be eating healthy things instead etc, getting more exercise to counterbalance that, so my goals consist of daily exercise (alternating cardio and strength training) and sticking to a healthy amount of calories. I guess my weight goal would probably be 140 - 147 lbs, but really I'd just like to be able to fit back into my clothes and tone up!


If you're interested let me know and we can trade email addresses or whatever. If not that's cool too :)

Sounds good, I am in Chislehurst so not that far from you.


Part of what you said sounds similar as my metabolism has changed quite a bit in the last few years, admittedly I am slightly older at 34 but at present I only eat around 1600 calories a day, walk for at least 20 minutes very briskly and yet have found that I have put on some weight.  Seems very unfair but now having to be more proactive to get some weight off and keep it off.


Would love to keep contact as I found that you can be more motivated if you have to be completely honest with someone else about what you ate and how you are going!


In that vain I got very motivated this week and got some fruit and had a couple of pieces after dinner and found , pleasantly, that it kept me full and stopped me from picking at other things.  Hoping that continues as after dinner tends to be my risk time for picking at naughty foods.


I want to lose around 40lbs long term but probably about 20 lbs initially and then go from there.  I don't obsess about my weight but its more about being healthy which I don't feel at the moment.

Hey you two..........WOW would love to do this.  My motivation is good but its because ive told everybody i know about my diet so they all notice what i eat etc....especially at work lol.  And loggin on here evryday and readin my journal, i log my happy happy thoughts as well as my lows, keeps me strivin for my ultimate goal!!

Im 21 5ft 5 and currently 173lb....have lost 8lbs since 5th Jan and my goal weight is 140-147lb.  Im very big boned, well i presume i must be lol, cuz at my weight now i am not massive....size 12-14.  I just wanna be how i was 2 yrs ago...fittin into all those tight clothes n skinny jeans, short minis n bikinis etc....not worrying about flabby bingo wings or that roll over the top a ya jeans hahahaha, never sittin down cuz hey lets face it its flatter whne u stand up right lol.

Im not from london area....but pls dont let that be a bad thing lol, im from west midlands, not far from Brum is prob easiest to say lol!

So anyway if your interested send me a message or just replie on here....we can egg each other on n advise wen its a real **** low day!!
