I would like to meet a diet buddy that's in a similar situation/body type as I am so we can help motivate each other. I am looking for a woman in her mid 20's to early 30's that only has 10-20 pounds to loose and feels as if she'**** a plateau.
I am 5'8 and 148 pounds. I've been this way for the last 6 years. I may go up or down 5-8 pounds but I can't seem to get under 140 pounds. My goal is to loose 18 pounds but I would be happy loosing 10 pounds by Summer. I have a pretty good diet already and I work out regularly. My goal is to improve my diet even more and to add some more intensity to my workouts.

I'm 28, in MA. I too am looking for a 'diet buddy' if you will. I have pretty much been 140 lbs. myself for the past couple years, give or take some lbs. Anyway, I am hoping to lose 20 lbs., but if with my current exercise routine in play, if I don't make the 20 lbs., but can at least substainially gain muscle and lose weight..I'll be happy.
Personally, I have my 'problem area' as hips/butt/thighs..ugh...though I could certainly use an overall toning,etc. I hope to be able to firm up my body and whatever I'm able to achieve...knowing I did my best is a good goal to me. :)
To be a 'diet buddy' one would have to be able to be honest with you, right?
So, I ask you....depending on your genetics and what your workout routine is, etc., you really feel you couldn't be genuinely happy unless you got the '6 pack' abs look? Not trying to sound rude or anything...I apologize if my words come out harsh.
Just guess it all depends on what you are looking to do overall...if you want to obtain more of a 'bodybuilder' type physique then I suppose 6 pack abs on a woman would be alright. Though is that what you want for yourself?
By the way, the pics. you posted are really nice, very sweet wedding pics...
I would think....set those high goals for yourself (ex: 6 pack abs), but also try not to beat yourself up if you aren't able to obtain a 'magazine 6 pack'. Unless you are a man...or wanting to a bodybuilder woman....more of a flat stomach with some muscle definition is much more fit and womanly, right?

You have almost my exact same stats - I'm 5'8, currently 144 lb and hoping to get to 130 (although even 140 or 135 would be nice). I work out about 5 times a week, as well as doind a lot of walking (a couple of miles each day to and from work). I keep a fairly detailed journal, and think it's a great way to keep in touch with people on this site - you can add comments to each other's journals and that way you only need to write about your day once, and everyone can read it :)
