Looking for a "diet buddy" for short term during surgery recovery

Quote  |  Reply

I hope I'm posting this in the correct forum. I would like to have a "diet buddy", someone just for me to be accountable to for a few months, two or three, starting in about a week or so.

I had major surgery 4 weeks ago and so I've been sedentary and while I haven't gained a great deal of weight, it's been sort of depressing to gain anything. My doctor hasn't given me the go-ahead to become a gym rat again, and I'm finding it pretty tough to not give in to comfort eating while I'm trying to recuperate.

I would like someone I could just write to at the end of the day, and say, Yes, I stuck to my eating plan or Well, I didn't do so great. Is this how a diet buddy works? I don't wish to be a burden on anyone, but simply having someone to write to who would understand would be such a big emotional help to me until I'm up and running again.

Thanks to anyone who might offer support, just send me a message or whatever. I'd be happy to help anyone who might need me too!
