Looking for exercise buddy!!! (late-twenties/early-thirties)

Hello! I'm 27, female, a full-time student at PSU, and live in lower southeast Portland. I have a gym membership to 24 Hour Fitness, but I've had a really tough time getting there... I was hoping to get together with someone who also has a membership and would like to meet at the gym or at least keep me accountable for working out at least three times per week. I don't exactly want a work-out "partner," just someone who I can talk to and stay motivated with. I would like to lose 20+ pounds, am pretty sedentary, have struggled with depression and anxiety for several years, and have some issues with food binging (especially sweets), and would prefer to work with someone similar goals and challenges. If this sounds like you, let me know! Thanks!

Hi!  I don't have a 24 Hour Fitness membership but I enjoy walking around the city and/or go hiking, and I am always looking for someone to walk and talk with.  It's much easier to get out and go for a walk when I've actually planned to do it with someone else versus when I'm only accountable to myself!  I also suffer from mild depression and have an anxiety disorder, and keeping active tends to really help both.  My goals are mostly to get fit (become stronger, more flexible, and increase my endurance levels) and try to eat more healthfully.

Let me know if you ever want to meet up for a walk, and maybe you can convince me to join 24 Hour Fitness (I have been considering joining a gym for awhile but haven't made the leap yet).

Hello! I am 25 and have also been thinking that I need a workout partner. I live in Clackamas, I have a membership at 24 hr fitness, and I also have struggled with depression for several years. I aso have had issues with food binging. I am a student at Portland Community College. My short term weight loss goal is 20 lbs, but I would like to lose about 60. I am able to go to the gym in the evenings.
