I have been working out and exercising five days/week for the past 9 months. I initially lost 20 lbs within the first three months and then continued to maintain the rest of my weight for the remaining 6 months. Still wanting to loose more weight I recently decided to change my eating habits and counting calories. I have been limiting my calorie intake to roughly 1500/day and after the first 5 days I have lost 2lbs. I never really watched what I ate until now.

I just got on here. I've been watching calories and thought and I thought I had been eating around 1200, but really I was eating more I think. Especially, now that I started this and realized that some of the veggies are higher than others etc. I just started yesterday on here Feb 19. I"m not looking for a diet, but a lifestyle change. It's kind of difficult.
I'm also on this shot that makes some people gain weight, but for me I think it's just hindering me from losing. Plus, I just graduated from college, and so I'm not running around as much as I used to. haven't gained any weight, just want to lose some to make clothes fit better.
Nice to meet you!
You are exactly right about a lifestyle change. As I have grown older and my metabolism has slowed I have found out the hard way that I can not eat the same way I did for years when I was younger. In college I used to live off of pizza and beer and not gain a pound, but now I really have to watch my calorie intake. Good luck in your endeavors and keep in touch.
