Hi, my name is Carol and my goal is to lose a little more than seventy pounds and I am definitely 50 plus, in April I will be 60.  My goal for April 7th 2009 is to 50lbs lighter and eating right which I have been doing for about 2 months and I have lost 19 lbs.  The exercise is the really hard part for me but I hoping as I continue it will become a habit.

I would love to stay in touch and I will add you as a friend.

Hello, to both of you ladies. I think we may just have a "mature ladies club" starting and I'd like to join! My name is Cathy and I'm 59. I would like to lose at least 30 lbs. About 5 yrs ago, I started WW and lost 70 lbs. In the last 4 yrs I've gained 30 back.

It's more difficult to lose weight as we age, but it is possible! We can do it!!!

Healthy eating and happy exercising (eating I like...exercising, not so much. :-))

I would love to be a a part of this group.  I am 59 and have lost 15 with CC so far.  I want to lose another 55 lbs by my 60th birthday in August 09.  I need to add exercise to my routine too.

Wow.  This is great.  I'm Mary Ellen 53 and motivated to lose weight.  I have a wedding coming up for one of my kids summer 2009. I didn't have a weight problem until I turned forty--then boom! I've tried lots of things WW, South Beach, TOPS, Herbalmagic  but nothing seemed to work.  Soooo I was surfing the web and came across this website.  I've decided to count calories as well as try to eat better and exercise.  I read a book called 'Younger next year' and it is really inspiring me.  Basically the message is exercise, eat right and think positive.  Looking forward to chatting with you while we all lose.

Hello everyone.  Just checking in.  Had a crazy day at work today but was able to stick to my diet so far.  I'm also trying to drink 8 glases of water a day.  I need to turn that into a habit.  Unfortunately I'm more likely to grab a coffee than water.  How did everyone else do? Mel
