Looking for a motivational twin or buddy!
Hi, I'm Lexi. ^^ I've already posted on the board specifically for this, but I figured I'd get a faster response if I just made my own. =] Here are my stats:
Age: 15
Weight: 121
Height: 5 foot 6 inches
Goal Weight: 118
BMI: 19.5
Goal BMI: 19
I exercise daily, and I'm looking for someone to help keep me motivated and keep me accountable, since all my friends and family are opposed to me trying to lose weight. But I want to! Let's get fit!
So does anyone want to be buddies with me? My problem is that some days I'm super good about not eating junk food, etc. but some days I just throw it all away. My weight fluctuates like crazy, but normally stays between 115-125. Right now, I'm kind of in the middle but I want to be at least 118 by the end of May.

I'm pretty similar to you, 5'6 16ys old but i weigh about 126-128ish.
I'm a pretty small frame, so I've looked good at 105 for my height, but I've made a goal of about 115. If i don't get there I don't mind but I'm just looking to up my exercise and tone up .. and I'm just like you.. a really healthy eater.. but I have my days- i don't eat junk food but i eat ALOT. I'm willing to join you!! The healthy way! How many calories are you maintaining your weight on? if you dont mind me asking. Because I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out how much I should be eating.
I'm definitely willing to be your buddy =) especially if it means ill get rid of this extra weight I'm carrying!

yea me too- same situation but around 124ish. i try to eat healthy most of the time but find that i sometimes break and just binge, even knowing that it's bad.
i want to be 115 by beginning of june & would def. love to form a support group.
Hey, sunshine_smile and iridescentblue! I would love to form a support group and be weight loss buddies with both of you, seeing as we're all in the same situation: just looking to lose a few pounds and stop "binge eating." =] I'm not actually using the calorie-counting features on this site, and I'm not counting my calories, but I'm just trying to eat healthier and less every day; normally you can tell if you've eaten too much for the day. I'll message both of you, and we can be buddies and keep eachother accountable. Yay!

Here are some of the foods I like...I would've sent this in a message but I can only send two messages per day apparently lol. But besides the Quaker Simple Harvest stuff I love this company called All-Bran they have crackers and granola bars and stuff that make you feel like you're eating too much because they're filling, but you're really not eating too much.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??? Lexi is not only 15, but her BMI is already considered underweight. Lexi, three lbs is not a big deal - that can be water weight. Maybe you need to do a bit more research on what is considered healthy for you. At 15 you NEED the extra calories as your body grows.

I don't see what's so bad about someone age 15 trying to get into shape. And, 19.7 isn't considered underweight; it's pretty much right in the middle of "healthy weight." And yes I know I need the extra calories, but my torso is pretty much a box and I'd like to get some shape in there before summer. I really don't see a problem...

Um. You can weigh that much dont put a sad face people dont get that a 15 TEENAGER can be 5'6 and weigh 101 [very min] and still be considered healthy, maybe on the very very low end up healthy but still be healthy. SO WHAT IS WRONG with 118?! That is perfectly healthy!
If you dont believe me go to this website thank you very much! I mean I am totally not promoting ANYONE to be underweight and unhealthy but SHE IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING UNDERWEIGHT. 5'6 and 118 is TOTALLY FINE. an ADULT BMI is 18.6-24.9 is healthy! So a BMI of 19.7 or 19.0 IS FINE! UGHHH. this makes me kind of mad.
I think you can tone up and weigh that much girl :] you can do it.
Again I am not promoting unhealthy habits, or weight loss. I just think that if the girl wants to be in the middle of healthy weight then why not!

Hi Lexi! My name is Ash. I just started Calorie Counters but before I started using this site I did the same thing your doing being really healthy one day and the next day not so much. For the couple day time period I've been using this site I've been healthier but we'll see how that goes.
