Looking for music suggestions for my workouts.

I am trying to get more exercise by walking and biking while listening to my ipod. I am getting tired of the songs I have and am looking for some song suggestions. I like the upbeat happy kind of music when I am working up a sweat as they keep me motivated and working hard.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

hello do you like siome good old fashioned blood boiling metal?  if so try pantera "walk"  I love it .  Also do you know how to get your songs?  i have over 4, 000 i would love to file share no worries.  Good luck to you.

Also for some reason i like old school upbeat Michael Jackson.  i dobnt know why It just gets me going .  good luck

When I feel myself stalling during a run I put on "Crazy B**ch" by Buck Cherry.    Kid Rock has some stuff that is good running tempo too.

"The Way" by Fastball (It's entertaining during long trips, gets you in the mood)

"Whatchya Waiting for?" Gwen Stefani (it gives you a little bit of the girl power feeling)

"Shut me Up" MSI

"Thimble Island" Rasputina (another good traveling song)

"Every Morning" Sugar Ray (keeps you positive)

"Teenage Dirtbag" Wheatus (Another positive one)

"Island in the Sun" Weezer

Good luck!

Anything metal : Childen of Bodom, Atreyu, etc. Really works for me anyways.

Yeahhhh, Bodom! It's rare that I find other people who like to work out to metal. All my friends find it strange when they see Slipknot or In Flames on my gym playlist. :P

Hi there! I know this is going to seem like a random suggestion, but if you like happy and upbeat music and don't mind the language, I highly suggest checking out Japanese or Korean pop (I don't understand a word, but they keep my feet moving):

"Secret Secret" by Perfume

"Fill This Night" by Clazziquai

"Lady Galaxy" by BoA

"Nanchuu Koi wo Yatteru YOU KNOW" by Berryz Koubou

"Papa Lapped a Pap Lopped" by Gackt

There's more but that's all I'll suggest since it's not the kind of thing everyone goes for ;) You can always look them up on YouTube to see what they sound like :)

Picking a good playlist is really important - an upbeat song gives me a whole load of energy I didn't know I had! These are some of my favourites:

Feeling no pain - Josh Rouse

Feeling a moment - Feeder

Propaganda - Some Velvet Morning

Chicago - Sufjan Stevens

Spiralling - Keane

Mr Brightside - Killers

When I argue I see shapes - Idlewild

I predict a riot - Kaiser Chiefs

Bullets - Editors

One more time - Daft Punk

Flourescent Adolescent - Arctic Monkeys

I'm not gonna teach your boyfriend how to dance with you - Black Kids

Wake up Boo - Boo Radleys

Clocks - Coldplay

I suggest some techno:

Ecstasy - ATB

White Lies - Paul Van Dyk

Forbidden Fruit - Paul Van Dyk

Flaming June - BT

Feel You - ATB

Sweet Misery - Tiesto

Fixed Income - DJ Shadow

Ten Seconds before Sunrise - Tiesto

Midnight in a Perfect World - DJ Shadow

These are a few for now....If you cannot get a hold of them you can ask for it.
