Looking for success stories for motivation

Hi,

I've been doing the calorie count for my second week now.  I have to say that it keeps me in check with anything that I am putting in my mouth.  I would like to know if anyone wouldn't mind sharing their experience with me.  I am wondering if this really works.

thank

Check out  x17star17x - her profile.  She is a mod for the Maintenance forum.  Every time I want to give up, I look at her profile.

Sorry to put you on the spot hun! Wink

webblove I have to agree with lovinmylife24 that x17star17x  is a great example.  I am currently down 79 pounds since I started and I don't feel cheated it actually feels like I am eating more then before.  Find yourself a good support group.  I found a wonderful group which we check in every week with our weight and it has kept me on task.  Good luck with your lifestyle change.

Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.

I have lost 52 pounds since I joined CC last September, and I'm 10 pounds away from my goal.  CC helps me with tips and support, and I have made cyber-friends for the first time in my life.

Most importantly, by logging my food, posting my journal, emailing my friends and reading/responding to forums and groups, I have kept myself conscious of my behavior, I have learned what emotional pitfalls I need to overcome, and I have been able to keep in touch with my goals and long-term desires, instead of succumbing to the dubious gratification of binge eating.

About 65 big ones lost here. I've got about 20, maybe 25 left to go. Stick with it. Count those calories. That is absolutely the most important thing.
