I just started these dvd's religiously on January 8th.  I must say I'm addicted.  I can't wait to get home from work and join the party!  lol, brainwashed I know!

I'm looking to connect with others who are doing Turbo Jam and I definitely want to hear your success stories.  I have already began to notice a little definition in my arms that wasn't there before and the routines are becoming a little easier for me to complete.

I'm following the advanced chart in the booklet so I'm working out 6 days a week with 1 rest day.

Look forward to hearing from you!!!!!

good morning fellow jammer!!!  I've done Turbo for at least 3 years, and i love it....i variate my workouts, but i find that the  Punch,Kick, and Jam dvd is the most deadly for me...i talked to the company recently, and that exact dvd burns 700 calories in 50 minutes!!!  It is an ass kick!!!  How are you liking it so far??  I found that once you can focus on the core muscles as you are punching, etc., you find your niche...let me know how you are liking it, ok?

Good Morning!  I'm LOVING turbo jam.  I didn't think I would but decided to try it anyway (got it on Ebay).  The first few times I did the 20 Minute workout I had a hard time keeping up but now I"m getting to know the routines so it makes it easier.  I'm finally able to make is all the way through Cardio Party without stopping, the W is the thing I have the hardest time with because I'm trying to concentrate on the kicks, but one step at a time I know.  The Punch, Kick, Jam is awesome but I do have to stop sometimes just to catch my breath.  I didn't think I'd like something this aerobic but I'm really surprising myself.  I find myself singing the songs through out the day and it gets me pumped to go home and workout.

It's funny, tonight I won't be able to work out and I'm actually disappointed.  Saturday's are usually my rest days but I'm going to do what I would have done tonight tomorrow and I'm REALLY looking forward to it.  The most trouble I'm having is with the Ab Jam, I'm not able to tuck and press my belly button to the floor and stay flat like the ladies on the DVD but I'm sure with time I'll get stronger and be able to.

Have you lost many inches/weight using this workout?  I think I'm seeing some definition but I'm not sure if it's because I want to or it's actually there, lol.

Looking forward to your reply!

I started with the 20 minute workouts as well, to get familiar with it...but i have worked out since 1991, so i'm accustomed to aerobics.  Every different workout is a challenge though, and this one does work different muscles... I like the less dancy versions though, because i feel like i get more bang for the buck with punch, kick and jam...  what i notice about my self since i've started this, is that once i got the right feeling of what i was doing, i could literally feel my core helping me to move through with the punches...i could focus on my core better...and that is almost an impossible feat for me...i have lost 20 pounds on Calorie Count, combined with my daily workouts, and it is hard for me because i love to cook, bake, and i bake wedding and specialty cakes from home... I do have a great understanding of healthy eating, but it is hard when you're cooking for a Swat team husband, and a 6'6" Czech hockey player...haha...  but back to turbo, you will most definitely see results if your eating plan is balanced, and you will feel great from working so hard!!! I don't have the Ab Jam dvd, so i don't know what it is like, but abs are hard for me too..... Have you done the 40 minute weight workout yet?  It is good as well....Hope to hear from you....

I know what you mean about trying to keep up the healthy eating, it can be VERY hard.  Since I live on my own right now it's a little easier to prepare foods and stick to the plan but I'm worried about after the wedding and my new hubby moves in!  He has celiac so I want to make sure that he's also getting what he needs from food, it's going to be a challenge but I know I'll push through.

Are you referring to the Turbo Sculpt workout?  I can't remember how many minutes that is.  Yes, I've tried it once or twice so far and it was VERY challenging for me to get through, most of my strength is in my legs (I was a competitive horseback rider for many years) so I struggle when it comes to upper body strength.  According to the chart I'm following in the book I'll be adding that into the workout schedule next week so I'm very anxious to see how well I do with it.  I think I'm going to try and incorporate that one more than Ab Jam because when you think about it, most, if not all of the workouts focus to some extent on the ab area.

I'll let you know how the Sculpt workout goes...Foot in mouth
