Since May I have lost 15 pounds going from 205 to 190 and I don't really know how because I'm not doing anything different. lol. But I would just love somebody to do weekly weigh ins with me and possibly be my support person.
Enough rambling here are my stats:
Age: 17
Height: 5'6"
SW: 205lbs
CW: 190lbs
GW: 130lbs

I would love to be your weight loss buddy. I have similar stats- 185 lbs, 5'6 but I am 29 and a mother of one. I also need some support and motivation:) My gw is 135 and I hope to reach it by next Sept in time for my brother's wedding. Should be doable but it has been slow going so far.
hi, sorry havent replied sooner, i have only just got up!
i get weighed on tuesday mornings. how bout you?
what are you eating today? i have had rice cakes fior breakfast and have made italian style burgers for lunch and tea lol will have just the burger with salad and tzatziki for lunch and then have it in a burger bun with mozzarella for dinner, with more salad and maybe a few sweet potato wedges, works out just over 1300 cals
Is everyone fine with weigh ins on tuesdays?
I had oatmeal and an apple for breakfast and for lunch I'm probably going to have a chicken salad. And I just eat whatever my mom makes for dinner. So thats probably around 1300 calories.
Also how do you satisfy cravings?
tuesday it is then
i am very lucky in that i dont have cravings. my weight problem is due to portion control and eating junk food. i love McDonalds!!! i have foud that by doing the calorie counting i have also been eating my 5 a day fruit and veg which i dont think i have ever done before. i think i have just added you as a friend??!!
where do you live?
tuesdays work for me.
I used to have terrible cravings when I first started. I just give in to them and work around it and now I have found I have very few cravings at all. When I craved chocolate I would eat a small individualy wrapped piece or have a chocolate flavored protein drink.
I guess allowing myself to indulge within reason has diminished the cravings. I am very responsible about it and so no guilt either!

of course you can, although you are all making me feel old!!!
will add you as a friend also
Hi I was hoping I could join this thread as well.
I am 20 and 5'3" and 190lbs. My weight goal is 130. I would really like to be close to that by christmas time but we will see. I work out very often but my problem is with eating. I am married to someone who has no worries about what he eats so that is not a good influence, although we do work out together.
I look forward to weighing in with you guys, we can do this!
yes we can do this, are you up fpr weigh ins on tuesdays?
Yeah Tuesdays are fine with me.
Do you guys have any suggestions for the amount of time for doing cardio? I usually do a 10 minute warm up then weight lift for around an hour then about 30 mins of cardio. this is not offering much weight loss but this could be due to poor eating habits. i had a friend working out with me for a couple weeks and she would do 50 mins of cardio which was complete torture but i think i did see results. any comments/suggestions?
i dont do exercise so cant help you. i have tried to exercise and diet before and i have got so annoyed with myself and given up on the exercise, and the diet has soon followed. this is the first time i have actually stuck to a diet, so going to try to lose another stone and then start properly exercising.
so you in the US? i think i may be the only one on this thread from the UK lol
yep i'm in the US, home of huge portions.
i know, we did San Fran, Hawaii and LA last year and i have never seen so much food!!!
I have started doing 30 minutes cardio and 30 minutes weight lifting and have found that it is working.
My suggestion is 30 minutes of each.
are we all ready for weigh in tomorrow ladies? i think i am ahead of you in terms of time as i am in the UK, so i will get weighed in the morning and then send you all a message via the friends thing (if i manage it) if not will post on here
good luck to all of you
clairewin, please don't feel old! we are the same age! And I don't wanna be old ![]()
I'm ready for the weigh in...maybe.
Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?
You can lose weight despite eating the same food day-after-day as long as you eat fewer calories than you burn. In fact, eating the... Read more
