Looking for a Weight loss Friend!!!
Hi!
I'm 19 years old, 5 ft 6 in, & 156 pounds. I'm a college student and I think my first goal wait is 130 pounds. Does anyone want to be my weight loss friend so we can talk and help eachother to reach our goals?

Ok ya'all it is weigh in time again. My measurements are:
Waist = 37
Bust = 38
Weight = 146
I lost 2 lbs this week and it is even MTOTM so I will take that just fine. Eating was much easier for me this week, last week was really tough with the carb cravings but this week I was more focused and ready for the challenge. Next week is recovery week for me on the P90X plan so not sure how that will affect the weightloss. I can't belive that in just 6 short pounds I will be in the 130's that is just unbelieveable to me. I am so excited and now more focused than ever, I will be 114, I will.
Hi everyone! So I didnt really have a great week. I am down 1 pound, but considering I didnt lose anything last week its a bit discouraging to only lose 1 pd in 2 weeks. I did expect it though, because I over ate this weekend when I went home for easter, and I guess the whole week of going to the gym made up for it, but didnt result in any weightloss. I guess I'll resolve myself to do better next week, but I am drinking with my friends saturday night and I hope the calories from the alcohol doesnt set me back too much. Alright Hope everyone else did well and good luck next week!

Well done allibee for losing 2lbs! and getthin99 don't be discouraged, any weight loss no matter how small is still in the right direction.
I lost 2lbs this week.. but i think im slightly cheating cause when i weighed myself last time it was late in the day and i had eaten a huge meal, so ofcourse i was gonna weigh a bit more than usual! but anyway im now at 147 and im happy that at least theres a slight difference!

Well, I feel GREAT! I weighed in at 206 today, which isn't a problem because when I started dieting last week, I estimated myself at 200 (which means I was heavier than I realized). I got so many compliments from my family yesterday on how I've slimmed down, and I've noticed it with my jeans feeling looser. I'm really excited because this is the best I've felt about myself in months. I know I've lost weight and it feels great.
Well done missy! That's so great, if you feel that you're losing weight thats what counts. Thats what i want, to feel better about myself and generally feel like i've lost weight! Hopefully soon i'll have the good feeling you have! Keep it up x

Hi everyone! So I'm down one more pound this week! Seems like I'm going at a very slow and steady pace, but I guess I just have to be patient and keep at it. Plus one pound lost is an accomplishment because I splurged alot this weekend, eating pizza and icecream and drinking, so a week at the gym made up for it and a little more. Finals are in two weeks and I don't know how I'm going to find time to go to the gym everyday, but I'm going to try. I hope everyone else did well on their weightloss this week!

I lost three pounds again this week. Next week is recovery on P90X, which I am sure I will not lose quite as much weight since I will not be doing as intense of workouts. It is nice to see that within the next two weeks I will be in the 130's, I honestly did not think I would ever get there, starting out at 180 in Oct. It is unbelievable that I have lost 37 lbs to date. I am so proud of myself. When I hit the 40 lb mark I need to go buy myself a new shirt or something to celebrate. I have been dreading trying on clothes for a long time it, I am still nervous about it but am curious as to what size I would be now. Could I possibly be in a 12 now. It is hard to say. There is only one way to find out I suppose. I hope everyone else had good success this week as well. I know if I had not been working out so hard and eating the same strict plan all week there is no way I would be down 3 lbs, it is not easy but so worth it all. People at work are definately noticing the changes in my body, it is such an awesome feeling when someone says, there goes skinny. I am not in no way shape or form skinny yet, but it feels good for people to see that I am on my way there. I can't remember the last time I was referred to as skinny, honestly I don't ever remember being called that, even when I was thinner, at 120 in high school, I always had a belly and always felt fat, never felt skinny.

So this week my jeans were REALLY loose! I was really excited! I could actually pull them down all the way without unbuttoning or unzipping my pants! :D So I weighed myself today and lost...3.3 pounds!!! I weighed myself at 203.3! :) I feel so great and proud. Especially since this week was extremely tough emotionally for me. Wednesday was THE WORST DAY EVER! Before my 1st class, my Dad called to tell me my uncle (who was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago) passed away and they're having the funeral in 2 weeks (which is right near the end of my finals). Then I was late to my 1st class and skipped breakfast. After 5 minutes I was just emotionally tired and left to get breakfast. I went back home and slept for 2 hours, making me late to my 2nd class. I ended up late to my 3rd class and trying to find a home for next year was getting me stressful that I just broke down and cried. I would've left but I had a presentation for my last class and I'm not doing so well in that class. Later on that day, I was at my computer typing and I hear a snap close to my feet. Which meant my mouse trap went off. YEP...I caught ANOTHER mouse in my room! Because my roommate left her food in the trashcan.
Oh missyrissy i'm so sorry. I hope you're feeling a little bit better today, and you're not too overwhelmed by everything, Make sure you've got all your friends around you! I'm sure no matter what sadness your experiencing you'll still ace your finals, and at least that's one mouse down!
I know it's so easy to start emotionally eating right now - believe me i had a pretty bad day on friday and i went straight for the chocolate! - but we can stick it out!
I didn't put my stats up on fri cause i stayed exactly the same and was So frustrtated i just couldn't admit to it. So i'm hoping this week will be a better one in every sense..
Hello everyone! My name is Sarah and I'm 19 years old. I just started out here today and i really like the way this forum is. I'm 5'8" and i weigh 180 lbs. It's very irritating when I think about the fact that 3 years ago, I weighed in at about 130 pounds!!! Anyways, my goal is 145 pounds for now, and I'd like to have that goal achieved by my 20th birthday this August.

i love this site so far! I'm 22, 5'5", 140 lbs...was 152. I would love to be 135 or less by the beginning of June. I recently started counting calories and it's been working well so far. But, i'm afraid that i am not eating enough in a day. My calorie goal is around 1200 calories a day. I also work out every weekday, and stay active on the weekends. My workout routine consists of a couple miles on the treadmill or elliptical, then some weight training. I don't want my metabolism to end up slowing down on me. Also, how do you go about counting the calories in fresh fruits and veggies?
Okay so today was a bad day. I've had the flu and cough for past few days, woke up feeling gross, also My dad is getting divorced Again and somehow im the one stuck dealing with his ex wife so overall i was just feeling reallly down today so i ended up eating a whole jar of nutella. literaly with a spoon. a whole jar.
Normally that kind of foods not even in the house but my friend who stays most weekends leaves their food around.
Argh! what is wrong with me! why do i think chocolate is the answer to everything?!! So ladies im sorry but i don't think my weigh in tmw looks very promising! Please pease please can someone say something to me to get me out of my funk and make me realise I Do Not want the chocolate. I do not want to feel bad about myself. And what i should do when i start reaching for the spoon, or the biscuits or anything esle??!
I have an important party on the 13 of June, so that is my new goal. Please can you help me reach it.

Sam, I'm so sorry you've had a bad day. Be careful with the flu since that swine flu is going around. Don't worry about one week.
And if you start reaching for something, think of how you'll look when you reach your weight goal. :D
weigh in day...dun dun dun....
i'm up to 135 today. i'm not surprised though. i had final exams this week so i literally spent every waking hour with my nose in a book snacking on something and i haven't gone running since last sunday. not getting down though- this is a new week and i have very little to stress about as i have a week off before i start my summer internship. this pretty much leaves me with nothing to do all week but work out and make healthy food:)

I lost three pounds again this week. As of yesterday my waist was measuring 36 but today it measured 37. Does anyone know if ovulation can affect those things. Just curious. I can't believe I lost three pounds this week, I am on recovery week so I am allowed 2 rest days this week and I used them up on Tuesday and wednesday back to back because I was so busy with other activities, such as softball and my women's group at church. I even ate some bad stuff this week. I am very surprised. On Monday I did zumba in place of yoga, that is a workout and was fun to do. Tuesday and Wednesday I rested (I played softball tues night which was a least some activity), last night I did core synergestics (sp?). That was a fun workout. Which targets your top area from shoulders to waist/butt. Next week will be the week....I will be in the 130's. I am so excited as today I hit my 40 lb down mark. Wooo hooo! 16 lbs of the has been lost doing P90X in the past 5 weeks. I highly recommend the program, it is awesome!

Don't get discouraged and I am so sorry to hear about your dad, there is no easy way to say no to chocolate. I just had a whole thingamagig candy bar last night, my first in over 5 weeks, it was oohh so good too. The best thing I can say is to try to change the way your react to stress by releasing the pent up energy on workouts or running. I know I always feel better after a good run when I am upset. The sun will come out tomorrow....Annie promises that. Keep your chin up and try to remain positive always, look at the bright side, there is always some positives if you look for them. *hugs*

I only lost 1 pound this week ;(
But I lost 2 inches, one from my bust and one from my waist so that is great news. I tried on those size 10 motivational pants that I am trying so deperately to get in; I can get them buttoned but there is no breathing room. I am actually wondering now though if another size 10 might fit, I just noticed last night that these pants that I am trying to get in are more of a hip rider, they are much lower than my waist. Things that make you go hmmmm. I think I am going to have to go tryon some clothes to see where I am actually at with clothing now, any suggestions guys?
