Im 21 and looking to loose about 40 lbs. Im recording all my food intake and so far have lost 5lbs, slowly but surely!! I Feel after 2 years in a comfy relationship ive completly let myself go and want to share motivation tips and progress with someone in the same boat!

I'm 21 and going through my senior year of college, which is what has finally motivated me to get my weight down. I've always been overweight and would love to see what my "healthy weight" is like... which is about 40 pounds lighter - but at the moment, I'm just trying to get down 15 lbs. Little goals and such help me get motivated.

hey im 22 and want to lose 46lbs and i feel the same as you...i have always battled with my wieght since 11yrs old but i found a happy weight at 19 and maintained for a year until i got with my other half 3yrs ago and bang it all went bk on and some.

It is a lonnnng process and my biggest thing has been my learning throughout this whole process. its definitely a lifestyle change, not a diet!

great to hear about someone in the same boat!! How are you finding loosing weight?Istarted about 2 and a half weeks ago. Starting at 13.6 stone which is about 188lbs. Im now down to 12.12 which is a 6lbs weight loss and it was just through eating healthy!!! Well AHppy! Hopefully will be loosing more this week cause im going to start the xcercise! I used to be such a sports head and now the thought of excercise just makes me wanna stay in bed!
I think what i have been doing wrong all this time is cutting myself off from everything fatty and bad for you. Ive been having 3 square meals a day, healthy and aprx 1,000 in total which doesnt seem to be a lot but i will snack during the day on raisins and nut which ties me over until dinner.
I even went out for dinner last night which i was worried about. Ordered my favourite thing on the menu as a treat and still felt great cuase i know im not eatin it every week. Theres a chocolate bar over here and its about 110 cals a bar. The nicest thing ever with a cup of coffee! and i have that a prawn salad for my lunch when im in work.Marks and Spencer have great salads and great light options that are sooo yummy!
Im not great at keeping journals but i have a mental one in my head! I feel great and hope your doing well at your plan. I dont want to call it a diet. I totally believe what you said its a lifestyle change and so far so good!! Looking forward to hearing from you!! Keep Motivated!!

Hi! I added all you ladies. I'm 21, trying to lose about 20-30 pounds. I think it's being in a relationship that made me pack on those pounds, especially cause my BF is rail thin and loves fast food! I'm also a senior in college. Seems like everyone at my school is so rail thin! I'm only 165-ish, not obese or anything, but compared to some of these girls... geez! I feel huge sometimes. Got to keep it in perspective, not hate on myself too much or anything, but still I want to get down to a healthier weight.
I'm 21 and have gained 30lbs over the years and want to get back to 120lbs. I also let myself go. I've been with my boyfriend for five years and over the past two years is when I put on the weight. My goal is to be 120 by Valentine's Day and half way there by Christmas.

i'm 21 and want to lost about 20 pounds. i've packed on about 16 pounds in the last year, i think it has to do with bad food choices and also having a boyfriend that can eat anything and not gain a pound.
i'm from australia, so we call it university here, but i've still got a few years left. finally found the course i wanted to do a few years after i left school.
