I'm giving a range up there because I really hate discouraging myself with not losing as much weight as I thought I could... so as long as I'm under 160, I'm happy. If this is successful, anyone wanna have a july challenge then? Like, shoot for 8 pounds in july or something? I really want to be at 150 at the end of july. I'm going to the lake and think that's what it will take for me to be comfortable in a bikini.

I am DEFINITELY in. I have been on a diet since May 27th and then up til yesterday I was doing SOOO well, and then yesterday night I kinda lost it and that was just not good. But I am back on track today. I've lost about 3 pounds, and want to get these 6 off by July. Keep in mind, I am NOT trying to get UBER skinny or anything. I just want to tone up and get healthy and fit.

Hey, no problem... I've been doing poorly the last two weekends, so I wait until wednesday morning to weigh, so that I don't get all of that water-bloat and food bulk along with my normal weight...
I thought I really screwed up this weekend. I was 163 on Friday, then ate like a mad-woman on.... Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday. As in, I am literally ashamed of what I put into my body. I thought I would have gained a pound or two just judging on the pure calorie count of everything (although its true, I didn't actually log it...) But today (wed) I'm still 163 and am estatic about it.
my first goal is to make it through Friday, then I'll focus on making it through the weekend. Hopefully you'll see me at 161 or so next week!

I weigh myself every morning, is this too much? I think weighing yourself every morning keeps you motivated... or maybe that's just me.
I guess i do want to get skinny, not in any unhealthy way, but just at the bottom of my bmi would be nice. I'm not overweight in any way shape or form i know that, but i definately would like to be thinner.
I'm in. My birthday is mid-July so I already had a 6lb goal for then. No harm in trying for another goal, right? Well except that I haven't tried to lose weight in years. 2008 has been hard on me ;) Still gonna try!
