How do I loose stomach fat only, and rebuild curves?

Quote  |  Reply

I used to be overweight, but had an hour glass figure, I resently lost a lot of weight (due to anorexia) but all my curves along with it! :(   Im now like a complete rectangle shape, and my stomach sticks out a lot.. I have recovered from anorexia but now just want to lose weight around my stomach without looseing much from anywhere else.. is this possible!? and if so how??

try the ab workouts on here. They really target that area.

Congratulations on your recovery.  You need to give your body time to shift around the weight that you've managed to gain.  Losing weight is just going to cause you to relapse.  There is no such thing as spot targeting, but you can work on building muscles in the areas that you'd like to and keeping healthy while your body is busy rearranging itself.

There's no such thing. Other than lipo that is. Get your curves back, it's a whole lot sexier!

I agree, it is more attractive to be a little bigger than super skinny.  But for your question, you can't just loose weight from one section of your body because your whole body burns the calories, but if you work out your abdominals and obliques then that part of your body would be much more tone and less apt to "stick out" :)

Agree with Jules about the toning -- if you used to have curves and now don't, it could be because starving your muscles made them weak, and weak stomach muscles bow outward.

Good luck -- I know this must make recovery harder. =(
