I am 27 year old female . I used to weigh 135 but soon after my marriage it Iincreased to 145. I am working out daily for 60 min both cardio and weight training from last 1.5 years. I eat healthy food around 1000 calories a day .
My weight has become stagnant at 143 even though i still have belly fat. What should I do to shed these extra pounds.

Hey parul. My best hypothesis in this situation would be that considering you work out so hard on a daily basis and you're only taking in 1000 calories a day, which is not nearly enough even if you're not working out, your body is holding on to every calorie, fat store, glucose, glycogen, etc. that it can get its hands on. You're unknowingly starving yourself. You know those fat friends that everybody has that eat less than we do? I think that's why. Not that 143 is fat, that's what I weight and I'm far from fat.
Here is what I would do... I would see what the website recommends as far as calories, and probably stick to around 1200 to 1800 calories a day depending on your height and activity level (yours seems pretty high). Fill your body with an abundance of good foods, but still keep track of the calories. I've started eating tons of fruits and vegetables and lean proteins. I'm starting to really trim up now. It's amazing. We are what we eat, but we have to eat enough to keep our bodies burning the calories. They won't burn them if they're not there to burn, they'll just hold on to the few they get.
Another thing, drink green tea. I drink it daily. Research has shown that if you drink 3 cups a day, you'll raise your BMR by 4%. To boot, it decreases your appetitie, slows rate of triglycerides to the blooodstream, and prevents small amounts of starches from being digested (something like that, don't quote me). I just know that it's amazing for every single part of your body. And when I drink it, I lose more weight.
Good luck!!!!
