Weight Loss

Last night i was at a friends house looking at pictures of her a few months ago before she lost 15lbs (shes now 115lbs 5'2). Before the weight loss she was pretty will chubby cheeks, but now she is beautiful. Ive noticed in other peoples before and after pictures that their faces change, sometimes quite considerably.
Im hoping that loosing 15lbs will make my bone structure more defined and make me prettier, trouble is im worried it will actually just make my fat nose stand out even more :-(
Question is has your face changed much with the weight loss? And is it a good change?
I know this is a vain question but the nose thing is worrying me.

I doubt that will happen to you. Other ppl don't notice the things that worry us the most.
I always lose considerably in my face, so my cheekbones stick out more.

I looked at your pictures and there is nothing wrong with your nose! In fact, you have a very pretty face. But yes, I noticed a huge change in my face when I lost weight. I think I almost look like a different person. But I like it. :-)
A Spanish friend of mine says " the but or the face, you can't have both...", that is if you are over 50 something like me.My cheeks get hollower and my nose gets bigger but, I do feel more attractive when I lose weight. And I am more inclined to try a new hairstyle and new makeup and I feel prettier than when I'm heavier.I think it's more of a psychological boost to my ego.
Some people's faces change more than others when they lose.
Like some women's fat goes straight to their face (extra chins, puffy cheeks) and other women could be 300 lbs but if you saw a photo of them from the neck up you wouldn't know. You don't seem to gain in your face from what I can tell.
That said, I have noticed the same thing, when women lose wieght, their face is more striking. I don't know why. I guess fat is not good for faces.
My husband had a fat face when I met him. He lost 20 lbs. after we started seeing each other and he looks like a different person. (started eating healthier when he met me...no more gallon of Dr. Pepper a day)
catherine - i like the idea of being striking, i really really want that.
Sarah - Your face has changed will the weight loss youve gone from cute pretty to very pretty.
i want cheek bones and a slimer chin, guess if worst comes to worst i get a nose job - ha ha

My face changed a lot when I lost weight. The main difference was my chin... I only have one now! The double chin is gone. My face has become slimmer too.
actually I am not prettier but I am happy that I have lost weight.
Eh I won't get better looking either way, I am what I am. I feel 100% better and I got another 100% better to look forward to over the next 4 months.
I noticed a big difference in my face, my cheek bones and chin stick out more. The biggest difference though was in my neck and collar-bone area.
You have a beautiful face and do not need a nose job.

Actually, a friend of mine has recently lost about 60lbs. Wow, right? And she does look amazing. Not to even mention how happy she is and now she's more confident and more outgoing. But facewise, yes she looks a lot more beautiful now. So don't lose hope!!!

I think it depends...a dear friend of mine lost considerable weight and I think it makes her face look older, less filled out (she is only 26) and fine lines have appeared. For younger people with more resilient skin, that may not be an issue.
But for the most part I think weight loss in the face is becoming on people as long as there is still a 'softness' to the face if that makes any sense at all.

I'm so full of myself. I have an ADORABLE face right now. Seriously, a little mascara and a brow highlight and I could make even the angriest of patients smile at my beauty.
My biggest fear with losing weight is having some ugly, boney face like an Olsen twin or something. And since I started losing weight, there has been some added definition to my face. My double chin isn't around anymore, my cheeks are slightly more defined and look amasing when they're rosy after being out in the cold, and it's happened at a slow enough pace that I barely noticed it happening.
As much as people are convinced we shouldn't be so vain and should love and accept ourselves as we are, we can't help it. But I'm sure that "fat nose" you think you have will suit your new face just fine. You'll never know until you see it for yourself, and there's no use worrying yourself into acne breakouts now!

I have to agree.
Haha, agree that I'm full of myself? xD 'Cause it's so true!
HAHA hey now!! I had a feeling I should have cut that down a little more. ADORABLE.
Aww. <3 I'm going to befriend you.
Oh, hell, you're in my state. Now I'm REALLY going to befriend you.
The facial change really worries me. I've had friends lose a lot of weight and their faces look almost hollow, if that makes sense. I ran into an old friend who I hadn't seen in about a year or two at the store yesterday. She had been doing Adkins and lost 75 pounds. Her body looked much better. But her face looked entirely too skinny to me. Don't get me wrong. I certainly complimented her and made her feel wonderful about herself. It still stuck with me though. I have quite a bit of weight to lose and I'm afraid that I'll end up looking like I had been sick for years or like a druggie. Which was sort of what her face looked like to me and I know she doesn't do that sort of thing.
Does anyone watch Reba reruns? Look at Barbara Jean's face when she was chunky, and then again when she lost weight.
Sorry, but I think some people, especially her, look better with a full, soft face. Just not when she does that cheesy grin that gives her eight or nine chins.

I haven't seen it. I'm not much of a tv nutter really. Life too hectic!
