I have struggled all my life with emotional eating. Im a professional Performer and always have to be in the best shape It  alot of pressure .  I have a big audition in April and have to lose weight to prepare. I would love to have support.....

why april 28th??

I am in as well, although, I need my date to be April 26th.

SW - 304 lbs (1/6/09)

CW - 277 lbs (4/1/09)

GW - 245 lbs (TBD)

I will be psyched if I can get to 265 lbs by April 26th.

started this at 138 am 137 now!  I'm glad to have lost anything (since I tend to get off track, binge/overeat, and gain slowly...)

I am currently 154 lbs, 5'9",. I am going away end of april and would love to lose the extra 10 lbs!!

 I have almost the exact same stats as the person about me. I'm 5 ft 9 and currently 150pounds, I'm aiming for 140 by the 28th April. I hope I can do it!

Well-it's Monday (TOTM) and I'm up to 168.  I saw 164 on the scale last week (but it wasn't my weigh in day) and I got really excited.  Now I'm up again.  I know I was working out a lot more and I felt really good but I feel really fat and bloated today.  I'm not going to stress out about it too much.  I know that next Monday will be much better.  One of these day I will see the 150's, they are there somewhere aren't they?

So here's to another week-keep at it!!!!!!

Time for my second week weigh in!! Okay, so it is 8 days again, because it was TTOM... why cant that show up earlier so it doesn't mess up my results??? lol.. anyway in 8 days (16 days total)..

down another 2.5!! sooo exited!! I know it will slow down and my metabolism just got a jump start because I was eating so much junk before, but im glad to be free of the 150's... its great not to lug that bar on the bottom over the scale one more time... even if I am only slightly under!!

great job for everyone posting their results!!

 

kavitak... I go to the gym five days a week

day one: 45 minutes elliptical and strength and core training (good tummy workout!! ouuuch!!)

day two: 45 minutes stair stepper and arms/shoulder/back work

day three: 30 minute jog/run on treadmill and thigh/stomach exercises

day four rest... go to park with kids for a few hours just to keep active


day five: same as day one

day six: same as day two

day seven: free day to eat and rest with family, but we usually end up going to the park or bowling

 

I am sure most of my success comes just from returning to the gym after my absence in the last 4 months of my pregnancy/ first two breastfeeding.. and cutting out about 95% of the junk I was eating. Just enjoying a few cookies or a subway sandwich on my free day feels like heaven and keeps me going!!

Well it's my weigh in day.  I did lose weight but I'm having some mixed emotions about it because I was down to 150 on Saturday and then went out to a friends party Sat. night and did not behave myself so I'm up .8 of pound again, so I'm a little dissapointed in myself for that.

SW: 152

CW: 150.8

GW: 142 for this challenge, 135 overall.

I can't wait to break into the 140's it will feel soooooo good.

hi guys, i just needed to confess that i binged this morning within 2 hours of waking up.  around 1300 gone =o(

now that that's off my chest, I'm going to be super active today and eat light and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

darned binges always make me sad and grumpy.

who's with me on getting at LEAST 30 minutes of good heart pumping exercise in today?

Good Heart pumping exercise-sounds good today.  I did get up this morning and worked out, but I want to get on the treadmill tonight when I get home from work-before the boys come home.  I did last night and I felt good and after working out like that I didn't seem to be quite as hungry.  I did weigh again this morning and was down to 166??  So I am going to have to wait for a valid weight till next week (still TOTM).

So I'm with ya-tonight about 4:30-5:00-heart pumping exercise!!! 

Well I am checking in on here for the first time since my first post.  When I first posted I was weighing 191.6.  I weighed in this morning I am down to 190.0.  I know I can do better.  I really enjoy reading everyone else stories on here.  They help keep me motivated.  Great job and good luck everyone.

Hey, I saw you have lost 3 lb.s way to go! that is exciting. So sorry on the late response. I left work Wednesday, and then went out of town! I am just now getting back on this thing. I ate really well while I was out of town (which usually isn't the case bc we typically eat out, or get fast food). I haven't weighed myself... I will do that tomorrow!

I laughed when I read your last response to me, because I was thinking the same about YOU! I was thinking, this is a mom.. who has had children, and definitely seems to be in shape, and that you probably looked way better than me. So we are even! ha! Because seriously, I have no muscle... so I know I am not as tone as you are.

How has your week been? have you been eating well?! I just went to the grocery store and picked up lunch meat (so i don't eat out).

I will write more later- and I will be better at getting on this thing! T-minus 35 days til the end. Ah!

I can't wait to break into the 270's...  Do my posts make me look fat?

I'd like to join this challenge. I have 38 pounds to lose by September (my 40th b-day) but the first 10 by April 28 would be a great start.

I just started last week, and my first official weigh-in is tomorrow. I'll post then. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
