So basically I have been reading that no matter how many situps or whatever you do you wont be able to tell unless you are losing body fat. So my question is what are the best exercises to lose fat, My body fat percentage is to high right now for my weight, and I want to know how to lower it.
All I do is jog and I've lost a ton of fat. Check out the profile for photographic proof.
You want to focus on cardio right now. Walking, jogging, bike riding, aerobics, jumping rope, anything that gets your heart pumping without making you out of breath.

Cardio is NOT the answer. Clean up your diet, get rid of all added sugar and everything white. Eat your BMR and more on workout days. Lift weights!
There is no exercise that will burn more calories than you can easily eat. Diet has to be 70% of the weight loss equation. Exercise is the rest.
Muscle raises your metabolism, so muscle building has great benefits. Cardio burns a lot calories too, but only while you are doing it and for a short time after.
So, the answer is: Reduce calorie intake and increase exercise.
What I have learned and how I have seen results is to first of all eat low fat and low calorie foods that have a high density of nutrients, and stay active! Do your cardio and lift weights... and focus on keeping your abs tight and maintaining good posture. At home when you are watching tv or spending time on the computer take breaks and maybe do some push ups or jumping jacks. Also it will not hurt if you do a few crunches, and mix up the way you are performing them. Like the others said... diet is the main key to weight loss and exercise is a supplement...so do both!
i walk. i do alot of walking! i'm lazy, so i figure it's the easiest exercise i can do. :D
it has worked wonders for me!!!
good luck!!!
Is jump roping as good an exercise as running?
In terms of calorie burning, moderate jumping is about equal to running a 10-minute mile, although calorie burning is always a function of time... Read more
