Good morning, fellow 30 pound losers.  Another week has flown by.  CW 194.0, down 2.0 lbs from last week. 19 down, 11 to go.

I'm down 2lbs this week too - which is a big  shock cause I have been good one day and then SO BAD the next.  I'll take the 2!

SW:  184.5
CW:  166.5
GW:  145.0

if I lose another 2lbs I'll be down 20 and half way to my goal!

I havent lost any weight this week so far.

I'm sure you can get back on track!  Have you been eating more or exercising less (and thus you need some motivation) or are you baffled about why your loss has slowed down?  Let us know about your eating and exercising.

I jazzercise Monday through Sat mostly and Mon-Thurs I do that atleast 2 times a day for an hour.  I eat no more than 1500 calories a day.  If I eat extra thats because I burned alot of calories and I don't want to have a calorie deficit over 1000 a day.  My weight loss has stopped. I was doing good the first couple of weeks now it just seems like it don't want to move.  Sometimes it would go up a pound then back down the next day.  I don't really have a meal plan I just watch my calorie intake.

Wow, looks to me like you're doing everything perfect and should be losing steadily.  Maybe post a separate thread to ask the experts for advice?

Have you tried zig-zag'ing? I find it works really well for me.  Maybe try a few days at 1300 - throw in an 1800/2000 and then drop down to 1500 for a few days and repeat.  Get your body confused about what you are doing and working again (??)

i would like to join! i lost 25 pound on here before, but since I got medically discharged from the army ive went back up in weight, so now im hoping to lose the 30 pounds i packed on!

how are you guys doin?

Niccimax:

No I've never done that before.

If you are serious sure welcome aboard.  I need all the motivation I can get right now.

Is it too late to join in? I would be beyond thrilled to lose 30 by christmas...I started at 201 I have already lost 6lbs but I could seriously use the motivation.

You ain't the only one welcome Sgbear98.

Greetings to the new members, and I hope everybody is doing well.  I missed two runs this week due to motivation problems but otherwise everything was pretty normal and I'm down 1.5 pounds from last week to 190.5.

It's getting harder to get up at 5:30 to exercise now that it's pitch dark out.

Keep up the hard work for next week!

I guess no one can give me any good advice well no change here.

hi! can I join yall's group too?

after coming back from labor day weekend in Texas, I could use a 30lb loss.  I seem to gain everytime I go back to visit the family.  :(  too much good food.  :D anywho I have a wedding to go to in November and am hoping to lose 20lbs by then.

I gained so much weight cuz of my previous job.  I literally lived out of a hotel and ate out 3 meals a day with coffee in between for 4 days a week.  2 days of my week were spent on a 6hrs flight across the USA.  so yeah I quit that job a yr ago.  been trying to lose all that I gained from it.  got rid of the stress but the weight.... blah!  I've been on calorie count before but never had the dilegence to keep going with it, so figured I give it a shot again.  and having a thread to post to and people as support should help me keep this going. :)

so some stats... I'm 5'3" starting at 145lb and hoping to get to 125.  115 would be even better.

I use to run alot... not as much now... but didn't lose much weight.. maybe max 3lbs.  so I've increased my strength training to twice a week starting this week, since mainly cardio didn't help me much.  and I eat pretty healthy so I'm not sure what else to do.

activity wise... I run atleast 2 miles almost every day... will be more when my nike+ running challenge with my siblings start next week.  I have a martial arts class twice a week that pretty much is calisthenics and strength training and it's kicking my butt but it's fun!  and I do this RealAge.com Intermediate 20 min workout as a warm up everyday.

I started this mission to lose weight officially on Monday, since I'm trying out that Special K diet of having cereal for 2 of my 3 meals and munchin on veggies and fruit when I'm hungry.  only I'm using Total cuz of the better nutritional factor. and I'm aiming to eat between 1300 and 1500 calories since I work out everyday.  that'll give me a deficit of between 500-900 calories each day.  I eat out max 3 times a week with one of those meals as Japanese/ Sushi.  the rest of the week is all home cooking for me.

so we'll see how this all goes...

sexycoolaries - are you doing more cardio than strength training?  try increasing the strength training.  muscles tend to burn more calories even if you don't do anything.  :)

dz44 - I hear ya.  I've been getting up every morning at 5:30am to go run and it's getting darker and darker.  hang in there.  but daylight savings time should help brighten everything!

YAY!  good luck everyone!!  :)  sorry for the long post...
