I'm back and I would like to start another challenge. Last time when I did the "lose 10-15lbs" challenge, it helped me tremedendously -- I've actually lost 11 pounds during that month and a half. I haven't reached my ultimate goal weight yet, and therefore would like to propose another challenge to keep each other motivated. This time, I would like to challenge those interested to lose about 20 pounds by June 1st. June = SUMMER! We have exactly 17 weeks if we begin weigh-in's on this coming Sunday. 20 pounds in 17 weeks sounds like a reasonable goal right? YES, we can do this! I'll start:

Week 1 -- Together, we have lost 64.5 pounds/940.0 pounds. Go US! The person who has lost the most weight is *** kevin_k *** -- losing 7.5 pounds in just 1 week -- very nice. (I have to go now, job interview coming up, but I will update more -- and by the way, I'm quite impressed with the attendance for the first week and overall, everyone has done great. I'm thinking of a penalty for those who haven't lost anything this week..lol )
Week 2 -- We have an overwhelming number of participants at this point. The group will now officially close. I just want to give a big welcome to all those who have just joined us. Since we have so many people, I realized that I have made mistakes in numbers here and there. Please kindly correct me. Also, I would really appreciate it if everyone can post their weigh-in and how much they have lost since the challenge. Also, it would be great if everyone can just edit their original post when they weigh-in instead of making a new one -- it gets a little bit confusing for me. I see some of you guys already doing that and it has been really helpful. So thank you for that. After 2 weeks of no weigh-in, I will take your name off the list unless you let me know. Please correct me if I am wrong, but from what I have, the biggest loser for the challenge so far is: CHERRYWILD -- who had lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks, congrats. Everyone is doing great, keep up the hard work and motivation.
Week 3 - I've been quite busy this week, I apologize for the late update and thank you everyone who has checked in this week. Again, please calculate your TOTAL weight loss since the challenge every time you weigh in -- that would make my life a lot easier. Thanks so much and keep up the good work. The title for the biggest losers this week belongs to gennysaurus and sonini -- congrats! 3 weeks down, just 12 more to go...we can do it!!!
Week 5: Wow, it has been 5 weeks since the challenge began and the numbers look great. I'm finally starting to go in the right direction. I don't know what went wrong the last couple of weeks. Again, I apologize for not updating last week. I had some computer issues. Keep up the great work everyone!!! Biggest loser so far is sonini --- 16/20 pounds gone so far! WOW! Congrats! This challenge is going so well. I'm glad I'm doing it and thanks everyone!
Week 8: So sorry you guys, I've just been really busy studying and starting a new job :( Thanks cherry for helping me update the info. I really appreciate it. Thanks to those who have dropped me a line recently wondering about my disappearance. It was kind of you to do so. So, back to business...Just wanted to give a big congrats to imhoff and sonini for not only meeting their goal weight loss but also surpassing it!!! WAY TO GOOO you guys! I haven't been doing too well :( -- I've put on several pounds. I'm gonna make today the first the I start hitting the gym again. This is ashamed and so awful. Please hang in there. We're more than half way through. You guys are doing wonderful.
Week 9: It's only week 9 and we've lost so many people :(. I hope you guys aren't mad because I have been slacking off with the updates. Just been busy, working and studying. But thanks the rest for sticking with me. I'm really amazed at some of your progress!!! On the other hand, I'm not doing so great -- actually, I'm doing the worst, gained over 5 pounds. I don't know what is going on. I've tried the gym, cutting calories. My cycle is 2 weeks late though, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. My motivation is string-thin right now, but I'm hanging on -- every single day and hope for the best. Congrats to everyone on your progress!! PS: Let me know if I've missed anyone.
