is it too early for the weigh in?! i'm so excited!!! LOL not sure why... i should've lost more, but STILL haven't exercised in like 4 days now. hubby is home now for the weekend, so i'll probably walk off about 5 miles... just to hopefully get him to do it too :D he's kinda stuck at 236 - 240. he just keeps going up & down & up & down. i keep telling him that's better than keeping going up!!! he's down from 293 on 9/4.
anyway, i guess i'll wait... who's 1st?!
at least i haven't binged! i've been on the edge for days!!! i just won't let myself because i know i have to weigh in on saturdays now. :D this group really helps me alot!!! thanks
Last Saturday I was at 186 and today the scale shows 183.4 - for a 2.6 pound loss!
Small, but as twinmama said, small is good. Small means I am less likely to put it back on.

my turn, eh?
i've been REALLY good since the start of the new year (staying around 1200 calories & logging everything that goes into my mouth). on january 1 i weighed 186. today i'm at 177 ( -9 pounds total) woohoo! i'm sure a lot of it is water weight, but i'll take it none-the-less!
one of my problems: i lose weight when i'm dedicated and motivated (once i go over 180). my weight chart over the past 15 years looks like a yo-yo. when am i gonna figure this out & KEEP IT OFF?
congrats to EVERYONE in this group - for losing, for sticking with it, for being honest.
reading a few posts, it sounds like the winter blahs for some. remember: the days are starting to get longer and spring is right arond the corner. keep on keepin' on!
nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels.

I was looking so forward to this day! Thanks so much xqueenofheartsx for setting this up and giving us an opportunity to look forward to "milestones amongst friends".
I started CC on Jan 5th, and my eat meter daily calorie goal according to assessment = 1050. I weighed in at 157 and today I am 150. (-7 pounds total), I am happy...not to mention that 7 is my favourite number.
I would also like to mention for the record that I have a great support system at home (my men...husband and two boys)..gave me my space every evening after dinner to walk my treadmill.
I like this first week's routine, and hope to expand my exercise activity to include weights this coming week.

~bluewater~ losing 4 lbs one week and then 1/2 lb the next is TOTALLY normal too. When I have a big loss like that, I can pretty much bet on losing an incremental amount, or none at all. It's just our body's way of staying in homeostasis - or maintaining a constant state.
~twinmamma~ the 1050 is eat meter daily goal...but my actual calorie intake each day has been higher than that. Deficit averaged ~ 300-500 daily.
so, i'm so sad, hahah. the weigh-in completelyyyy slipped my mind (my personal weigh ins are sunday - so i just forgot!) and i ate breakfast.
so here's my weight, with a decent sized breakfast in my tummy - lol.
starting: 157
1/12: 156.3 -- 0.7 weight loss... ah. not even a pound. i guess it would have been without the breakfast... but... boooo, hahah. i'm writing it on my calander so i don't forget next saturday.
ok I guess it's my turn. I started cc on 1/3 at 254 and am down to 248.4 so that is 5.6 lbs. I am very happy with that. I have been logging every things I eat and trying to stay between 1300 - 1500 cals per day. Last night I had a few drinks with some friends, I thought about the weigh in and I didn't eat anything so as to stay within my range. It really made me stay accountable knowing I would have to hop on here and put in my weight.

I'm 209 today! That's 5 lbs. since last Sat, and 16 lbs. since I started on the 2nd! I have never eaten so much in my life! I feel full all the time, thanks to snacks of veggies and fruit between and during every meal :) Watching my sedentary burn number drop is just as rewarding as the numbers on the scale.
browneyes LOL we are still checking in... go for it! i hope i can lose more next week, but i guess 2 pounds is good. as long as i make my 1st goal of 164 by the 24th i'll be happy! and then i'll work on my next goal of 144 by 3/30!!!
actually, that's my next bigger goal... even one pound at a time is my goal :D i guess once i hit 164, i'll be drooling over hitting the 150's and by then i'll be in size 9 jeans too. i do fit in them now, i just don't own any. these size 10 & 11's i gotta keep yanking up
