hello!! sounds like everyone is doing really well!! keep up the great work! I just want to get to 135 by my trip and it's looking dim... not sure what I need to be doing!! but I'm going to try and up my cals to 1500 and keep on keepin' on with the workouts... ugh... this sucks!

Less sodium? more water or fiber?  change up your workouts if you're bored...   

Or take a day off and do something good for you --- it;s not all about the number, gorgeous -- you know it!

wow, some of you are really good at responding to everyone's posts...I'm going to have to get better at that...Sounds like everyone is doing good...

I have been wearing size 14 jeans for awhile now and yesterday I finally bought myself a pair of new jeans...I couldn't believe that I fit into a size 10! I even tried on several pairs to make sure it wasn't just that brand...I haven't been that size in a long time...Hoping after this goal of losing 10 pounds to be in a size 8...

I really like the idea of a list of everyones stats...I think it motivate us to keep on track...

After all you started this amazing thread and got all of us on board with ya...I know it is hard to respond to everyone...lol It has been a couple of days since I've been on here and it is overwhelming to try and post responses for everyone...Don't feel bad life gets in the way a lot...

hey hey.. congrats to everyone here :) i have been quite bad this week... my weight has been fluctuating between 187 and 189 lbs... dang.... and i have been eating carbs too... bad both for the weight loss and for my diabetes, haha... guess i should start over :*(

I had a good jog to day, it was perfect weather - soooo nice :)

I had to because damn work had apple pie and ice cream for birthdays.  I swear they have been trying to fatten me up since I started working there!  Next week I volunteered to make a pie for a bake sale, so hopefully I won't feel pressured to buy something there (yeah, right!).

just been getting so so hungry these days, haha... been missing sugar in my life! seriously though, the past week has just been too good... so many good things happening.. i got the bar exam results ( i passed), saw some old friends, accepted a new job (which has FREE lunch buffet everyday), and been celebrating all around... the festive air got me... so there had been sightings of chicken (skin-on!!), rice and chocolate! damn... need to get back on track defo... :)

Good job girls.

Way to go tracigil! I made it out of my 14's but only to a 12. I'm still happy with that.

I'm feeling so unmotivated guys! My daughter isn't feeling well. Took her to the ER around dinner time yesterday. That was my excuse for not using my elliptical last night. she is still in pain(less than yesterday) today so I don't know if I should leave her with the babysitter(he only comes 2X a week) so I can go for a run. I want to run but I want to take care of Bailey more. What do I do?

 

hey everyone, con't be on here for long have to go get ready for pilates.  Well I have hit a plateau, I think.  Bummed about that.  I have been the same weight for two weeks.  So I think I will keep my calorie intake at the same amount, I don't think I could go any lower and get the full benefits.  So I will just have to up the exercise.  45 min bike ride in the morning, pilates before lunch, walk after lunch and bike ride after supper.  There is only one prob, the walk after lunch will only work if someone will walk with me.  I don't dare take a walk alone in this neighborhood.  And no one ever want s to take a walk, and that is what I want to do the most.  SO really down about that.  And I am no where near a treadmill.  So my luck stinks right now.  SO I will walk when ever possible and just consentrate on the other 3 things.  Good Job everyone who has lost.  Hopefully this stand still will end soon so that I can get to my desired weight before I leave for half the summer.

So I will be posting a list for ALL to see on Saturday of our progress so far after weigh in this 3rd Week. I am not looking forward to weigh this week. I didn't work out as much as i would have liked to so I have atleast stayed the same. My step daughter is having a mini afterwork b'day party tommorrow, and she requested my fried fish and crab salad. She'll only be six but knows what she likes. So I will of course weigh in first thing in the AM.

Sorry for the short post but for some reason I have been swamped with work this week can't wait til its over! One more day.

breakdown of my plan to get to 135... little sodium, lots and lots of water, whole grains at 2 out of 3 meals.. more if possilbe... just changed up workouts 3 weeks ago... planning to ride my bike to work (tomorrow :D) now that weather is getting nice.. eating lots of fruits and veggies.. exercising 6x a week for a 1/2 hour (I don't have more time than that to dedicate to working out... unfortunately) ummm.. not sure what else to do!!! I suppose I could drink less alcoholEmbarassed I drink on Saturday nights and rarely on Friday's and Sunday's.. I'll plan on cutting drinks on Friday's and Sundays... blah... this sucks! on a positive, not weighing every day makes me feel skinnier :) I wish I didn't focus on that darn number so much!!!

Sunday April 6th, I had an epiphany...my self esteem issues are directly correlated to what I eat & how it makes me feel. I weighed myself that Sunday and was 146.8. I'm 5'2" and this is almost as heavy as I was when I was pregnant NINE years ago!!

After many tears were shed from disbelieft at the scale, I've been eating so much better than I have in YEARS. Spinach, lettuce, tomato, strawberry salads for lunch, Kashi Bars for snacks, fruit & maybe whole wheat toast for breakfast...my fiber intake has gone from 11grams a day to between 25-32 for the last few days.

 After 8 days of seriously dieting, no red meat, water, no soda, fruits & veggies and maybe a lil chicken or salmon for dinners....I'm down to 143.4. I do allow myself a cheat snack every day, but I do pay attention to the portion size of chips/salsa or whatever the cheat may be. If it's Oreos....only allow yourself the serving size.

I'm very excited & hope that by June, I've lost at least 10lbs.

Okay no way I can be as kick butt as Zochia and respond to everyone but wtg on the wonderfully encouraging posts around here!  You guys seriously keep me focused. :) 

I have been doing much better this week on what I eat, just need to figure out how to move more.  I am proud that for the past couple of days I have actually been having a slimfast at around 7:30 and it really has helped give me more energy for the day!  I am one of those horrible people that usuall skips breakfast and I wait to eat till I get to work at 11.  I know that is a bad habit but I just hate food in the morning, actually makes me sick to my stomach to try to eat but I have found with the shakes its just a drink so I don't feel all gaggy. :)  I was even able to take my multi-vitamin in the am which I usually can't either becuase it upsets my stomach if its empty.  That also has contributed to me feeling like I can accomplish so much more in the day.  When my daughter goes to her dance class today I am planning on going to the park down the street from the studio and walking with the twins in their stroller.  I did it last week but wore the wrong shoes (went on a whim) so this time I am prepared.  At least until it gets too hot to do this I figured I have 2 hours to kill, might as well be productive!

Good luck to everyone tomorrow for the weigh in, I am not going to stress about it since I had a surprise this week and its now TTOM.  It seriously caught me off guard as I thought I wasn't due till NEXT monday but when I looked back, yeah she is just on time.  Oh well it just means that next weeks weigh in should be the best so far!   Talk  to everyone later!
