KUDOS TO YOU, AMARESMOM.    I try to stay active and eat right during my ttom instead of going crazy like I want to --- it really does work.  And the more exercise I get then, the better I feel (less cramps, bloating, headaches, you name it)  so GOOD FOR YOU.   And I agree -- open your heart to the skinny girl.   =P    I would give anything to have a workout buddy, so I am jealous.   ( ;  LUCKY!

Sorry to join so late, but I'd like to lose 10 pounds within the next month.  If I could do that, I'd be ecstatic.

My big barrier is going on vacation from May 12 - 21, where my boyfriend will treat me to the sushi buffet at least twice, to Maria's Pizza at least once, and then, since we're staying with his grandparents, all the authentic Sicilian food that they have on a regular basis.  Yummm...  And during that time, I'll not be near my beloved gym.

So I'm really going to focus and see if I can get down 10 pounds.  I'm at 175 today, and would like to see 165 by May.

No luck today on weigh-in. Cry Gained 1.50 inches. But, it is that time again.

Have my Chem final today. Tomorrow I am starting hardcore. I will be buying a new scale today, because I think mine is effin broke. I am still really frustrated.

Anyway, congrats to all those that lost!

I am a scale addict.

It's driving me crazy!

Today I weigh in at 165. Not thrilled. Was hoping for more. I'm gonna try and stay away from the scale for atleast a few days.

Anyway - Lexi's bday party was great. Cake and pizza and I still had calories left over.

i know that weighs sometimes differ, happened to me too, dont panic. just keep your good habits. today i am celebrating my 220 pounds (100 kilos, ie about 20 kilos/44 pounds lost during 3 monthy on the cc site) so i very much feel like telling everyone "hey, calorie counting does work!!":-)

keep your chin up, kpersons ----   your time is coming!   It;s so frustrating sometimes, but this too shall pass and you will get yours!!!!    : D   (my scale is possessed, I'm positive...) 

good job to immom for celebrating and still meeting her goals! 

Well yesterday went very well until....dinner.  I had a little extra pasta and alfredo.  oops.  BUT it didn't turn out to go way over calories.  SO all in all it still went good.  Well I took another step forward.  This morning I woke up and it was threatening to rain.  And my conscience was telling me that I should just skip the bike ride because I don't want to get rained on.  But I ate breakfast and left!!!  Before I would never of gone out there to ride bike with weather like that.  Then about half way it started drizzling and I had the option to take a short cut home or to keep on my regular route.  And I kept going the long way!!!!!  HURRAY.  And I am thinking for this next week uping my evening ride to an hour instead of forty minutes.  SO that would equal out for the day 100 minutes of bike riding.  So we will see.  And maybe uping will cause my body to lose more.  I will not be able to get on a scale until tonight, maybe.  That is if I go to my friends.  If not I will have to wait until Saturday evening.  I hate but love not having a scale at home.  Hate more that love though. 

djkitten- that is normally my down fall too, social eating.  That is why I am so excited about resisting!!! :))))

amaresmom- wow that is so awesome you got all those people to join you.  That will help out a lot.  Having that support right there around you!!!  And there is nothing wrong with a little cash involved, the more the merrier!!!  Hope you win!!!  Good job on the healthy shopping.

Hi everyone,

I'm back!!!  I was on a field project last week but got home Saturday and must have caught a virus or was suffering terribly from allergies.  Anyway I think I am back to normal whatever that may be.

Here are my weigh ins so far:

April 4  133.2

April 11 134.4

April 15 134.2 went out of town so Friday April 18 is N/A

April 25 133.8.....at least I am back in the 133s.  I have such an issue with retaining water so I do not know if water or fat.  I did lose an inch in my tummy and in my hips but not the thighs Frown No, I will not complain UndecidedSmile

I am hoping that I will be below 133 by next Friday.

I was at 146 last Friday and now at 144 this morning :) with jeans on :) After lunch. At TOM :)

I am a weekend splurger to, there is just less structure on the weekends and the food is good:) But i'm trying to work out more to balance it off, and gain more self control.

I was soo good today!! I even turned down pound cake and a friday afternoon starbucks run! Then......

I can home and started to prepare my shrimps to be grilled for my fav shrimp salad. I found a great cranberry vinagrette without HFCS and only 40cal per 2 teaspoons. SO my hubby who has been deadly ill with horrible allergies finally felt well enough to eat after the wonderful Zyrtec I bought him (it works). He really wanted pizza hut (they have a new pasta dish) so I (bright idea) figured it was a great time (late not hot anymore) for me to speed walk over to pizza hut and back. Thats the only thing I did right. When I got back I made my salad ate my salad enjoyed my salad. Then... heard the pasta calling me.... Tanjier, Tanjier, just have a small saucer so I did but then the bastard pasta started stalking me....so I had one more small saucer.

Now I know what you all are thinking.. thats not so bad. But I wanted to have the will power to not have ANY. I wanted to have enough self control to have 1 saucer full. I am glad I walked but next time the hubby has to pick something that can't be shared LOL !

well I weighed in today and according to the scale it says 141.  I am so excited to see the weight going down and I am not starving myself to do it.  I am so glad for this site, I seriously would have never found such good ways to take off the weight, I usually just starve myself.

 

I am so proud of all your success stories and even for the girls who may not have lost any weight.  You still have your own success story because you aren't giving up.  That is something to be very proud of.

I am really nervous because of the weekend, I tend to splurge, so I will probably be on here driving some of you insane.  I hope it's ok to do that but I bet I am really going to need the support.

Consider me 2.2 pounds smaller. I saw the scale at 172.8.  I've been eating well.  In addition, I've finally experienced what all you fiber-eaters have been raving about... a regular BM.  I should really invest in Benefiber or Metamucil so I can continue these BMs and maybe get up to the amount of fiber I'm supposed to have.

For fiber, I'm shooting for 30, but those numbers have been all over the place.  As follows:
April 21:  13 grams.
April 22:  19 grams
April 23:  24 grams
April 24:  32 grams
April 25:  25 grams

My protein has been no better, and has ranged from 40 - 95 all over the course of a week (the best one was Thursday of this week).

I talk too much.

Sorry I missed weigh in yesterday - ended up being a crazy day!

Yesterday scale said 172, but I pretty much drank a bottle of wine yesterday, so I checked again this morning... still 172. WHEW!

So I'm -2.8 so far since we started this...

Well as usual I was unable to weigh myself yesterday.  But I am doing a new diet starting tomorrow.  I am sick and tired of exercizing my butt off and maintaining or gaining weight.  Eating what i am supossed to too!!!  So I am doing the Zig Zagging thing.  I read all I could on it and it didn't leave any doubt in my mind as to wheather it is healthy or not.  SO I am looking forward to it.  And hopefully there is at least a little drop by Friday.  I might have to post my weigh-ins on Sunday.  That is the best day for me.  Hope you all don't mind.  So I will continue to exercise like crazy.  I figured out how many hours I exercise during the week and it comes out to 13.3333333 hours.  Sounds better when it is put into minutes...800 mins!!!!!  And on the weekend what ever I can get.So wish me luck.  Has anyone else done the zig zagging????  

puppykisses-That is good that you lost off your stomach even though you weight stayed practically the same.

luna- Pizza is my down fall!!!  TOnight we had it and I on;y had two!!!  Usaully 4 :((

amares- Good job on turning down that pound cake!!  It has been forever since I have had one of those.  I don't think I could've turned that down.  Good for you!!!

melness- I am so glad you didn't starve to get your weight down!!!  That brings a smile to my face!!!  I don't think you will drive us insane.  At least not me, I always come on here when I feel a binge coming on.

leopardrayne- Congrats on being 2.2 lbs smaller!!!  Sounds like you are getting a good start.

djkitten- Glad that wine didn't have an effect on you!!!!  Hey I have some new freckles too!!!!!  All over!!!

170.8 today.  I have 5.8 more pounds to go before I hit my 10 lb mark!

And I'm zig zagging, but not on purpose.  I eat 1400 typically, and one day I'll eat 1650 or so, just because I wasn't keeping track until the end of the day.

Okay time for work...

I've got to cut my salt intake down and up my fiber.
