hey are weigh ins on wednesdays or fridays?  also i weighed myself yesterday but i don't know if it can possible be right...138?

 

I've been eating 1100 calories a day and burning 1000 every day and have been at a pretty steady 134 for a while...could it be that i was wearing sweat pants instead of shorts?  i'm very discouraged and afraid to weigh in again!

 

amaresmom --   dang it.  been there, done that.   chin up, lovely.    Drink lots of water.... how's the exercise?   I have to only get 100 cal packs for work lunch since I only have 15ish minutes I only have time for one...   I really do understand.....    -------next week = BETTER   : D  YOU CAN DO IT

hi dee ---   not eating enough, girlie......    just my two cents.  your body is a machine that needs fuel.  If it;s only getting 100 cals a day, it;s freaking out....   back me up, ladies?    did I misunderstand?

Most people weigh in Friday, but I am not a Marine, so weigh in when you can.   =P

I second that Olivia! Need more calories def! Dee's body thinks it's in starvation mode, so it's holding to every little thing it can.

amaresmom- keep on trying!!  It sucks to lose momentum, but the most important thing in the long run is to just keep on going and keep on trying!  YOU CAN DO IT!!!

kpersons - congrats on losing a lb and the great grades! 

Everything is going so-so for me.  I am keeping the calories around 1500 which is great, but I'm getting bored.  I need to look up some new recipes and buy some fun fruit like strawberries to keep motivated!

Hang in there!  I have been in your shoes many times.  I just keep pulling myself up and climbing back up onto the "diet wagon."  You are so right, it IS so hard!  :(  Oh but it is soooooooo worth it!  You will get there! :)

Thanks so much you guys I will NOT give up!! I know today is a new day. We weighed in this morning and now its another commitment which I need to keep me pushing. I know it should be for me but I do love a bit of help and concern. SO THANK YOU Ladies you help keep me motivated to keep on this hard journey to wellness.  I weighed in at 217 so I haven't gained it ALL back which felt good. But I am the biggest one in the race :) Hopefully that will work in my favor usually the big one drops weight faster right? LOL

You ladies are one of reasons I can't give up because I love chatting with you all and reading the post daily what would I write if I gave up?

Hey everyone!!!  Well I have been AWOL and wasn't able to start my zig zag until yesterday.  But I am so determined it isn't even funny.  Yesterday I FINALLY reached the 3000 + calories burned!!!!!!!!!!!  I uped my bike ride to two hour long.  And I finally figured out miles, mph!!!  I do 18 miles in two hours and I am going an average of 9 mph!!!  I don't know if that is bad or good timing but I was sooo glad to find that out.  In my mind that is good, feedback?  Today is my high calorie day.  And I feel like I ate the entire kitchen for breakfast.  Which is fine with me!! lol.  And I am fitting in a cookie a day so that I don't feel deprived of goodies.  And it is working.  Oh and I am eating it in the mid morning so that I have pleny of time to burn it all up.  On saturday I ordered Jillian Michaels 30-day shred.  All I have heard is good on that dvd.  Well the only bad thing that I have heard about it is that you are extremely sore afterwards.  Which is great.  SO hopefully I will get that in the mail next week.  And that will boost my weight loss I think. 

Sounds like some people have been havinga hard time.  Hope you all are able to get back on track.  We can't let olivia lose all the weight!!!  lolol  Just kidding we all love you anyways, 14 pounds less or not.  lol. 

Great job to all of you who have lost or maintained through the binging!!!  That is wonderful!!!!!!

dee- you really need to eat more, your body is in sarvation mode and all you will do is lose muscle and keep the fat that you have.  Just try eating more and you will start to lose again.

lol, zochia ---  I am slowing down now.  ( ;    I go in streaks where the lbs fall off and then I stay steady/lose little bits for a few weeksn and then it falls off again in chunks. 

You are kicking butt with the bike riding, chickie!!!  I cannot (seriously) ride the stationary bike I have for more than 10 minutes.  I get bored and my legs hurt.  I am jealous of you -- and swimmers!  I cannot do that either.  I mean, I can swim -- just don;t like to....   Fat kid memories, I guess....  

amaresmom - you can totally get back on track! I've fallen off the wagon a few times, but I still see progress. :)

I'm still chipping away at my plateat trying to get into the 160s club. Slowly I will get through it! I think the new heart rate monitor will keep my on track now..

and my BIG NEWS - Got a new job! So the next 2 weeks I'm going to have to be very careful about not over indulging in celebration lunches and too many drinks! Wish me luck!

so I weighed in and I'm still stuck at 144. I'm trying to cycle calories for another week and will probably adopted a low carb diet, but I am really stuck and disappointed. Any suggestions??? I worked out like crazy last week to:(

I am positive when I first started last summer I was not getting enough fuel to balance all the burning I was doing....   just a thought. Once I upped my cals to meet my needs and the exercise, the lbs fell off a lot more fast. 

Olivia- isn't that strange?  Our mind tells us that the more you exercise and the less food you eat the better,  But really it isn't like that at all.  Funny how things works that way.

djkitten- congrats on the new job, you can overcome it!!!

Well I am doing good so far today.  I am very anxious, in a good way, about finding out if the zig zagging will work.  With that and the exercise I get done in a day I am sure it will.

I zig zagged calories last week and I did follow that and it was a decent amount of calories, the lowest day was 1418, and the highest 1890. So I'm pretty sure I ate right. I'm trying the zig zag again this week, and I actually ended up working out less, so we'll see what happens. Not sure what else to do.

bkmanda --- cals sounds pretty good IF you are not sweating them all back out.  ( :   We were just trying to help..   That really did happen to me.  I was fine for like the first month of not enouhg food and too much cardio, but after my body got the first few pouns off it refused to give them up without more fuel.

Hello so weigh in 153. I am pleased with this, I know I haven't lost anything since last week but I am still 4 lb down with only 6lb to go so I am ok with that.

Hello everyone, how's it going?  I ended up going back to 172.0, and I wonder if 170.8 was just a fluke.  Anyways, I'm still on the road to 165 by May 24th!

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ladies!!!!!

I weighed in today!!!!!!!!! AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 lbs down this week!!!!!!!!!! Hell effin yessssssssssssssssss!!!! PLUS! I lost 3.5 inches all over which is kickass!!!

Starting the weekend off with a bang!Smile
