whohoo! I'm impressed because I've had my period this week and all sorts of cramps&cravinsg.

kpersons -- YUM --  I love bean burritoes!  I make those all the time.  I buy La Tortilla Factory tortillas for 50 cals each -- ( :  I make mine with beans and enchilada sauce... maybe a little onion if I am up for it. 

I never splurge on real soda ever -- who wants to drink their cals? no me...    soda doesn;t even really taste good to me anymore....    I am, however, addicted to Crystal Light in all its deliciousness.  I think to each his own....  My bf had a hard time adjusting to the water drinking.... 

I must be the odd one here who likes black coffee!  But i do love lattes too, I have an espresso machine at home, it's my one real kitchen appliance besides a electric kettle and a nasty old toaster.

Katie - I forgot who said this: 'I love coffee it's the best excuse to drink cream and sugar together!'

I don't drink pop at all except for the occasioanl one at the office meeting when they put out all kinds.  I've never liked it that much.

Black coffee is gross.  oops --  LOL, jk, I love the caffeine though! I sabotaged a lot of my Atkins and dieting in general by adding lots of creamer and Equal to mine.....   I have it on weekends.....  That way when I taste it (watered down a little with a measured teaspoon of creamer and only a few sweeteners), I actually savor it. 

oh yes - another really good snack (reminded me cause I had some today) edamame!!  another word for soy beans, but they are pretty tasty and have lots of protein and for 100 cals you get a big bowlful.  Plus you get to squeeze the bean out or whatever you would call it - makes it last longer. 

hey are you calling my hot, dark, steamy, cup o'lovin gross?!?!?!?  lol

I know Im late but count me in... although Im gonna aim for 145, I was 155 a few days ago, 153 now.

Edamame is awesome. If you can give up the exciting bean-squeezing experience, you can make a great salad with the shelled beans and small chopped veggies (red and yellow peppers are my fave) and a little cayenne, salt, pepper, and a touch of olive oil. mmm.

sorry ladies... I've failed you as a challenge initiator... I dipped into the Easter candy last night Yell and I had some homemade popcorn (which I don't count as "bad" carbs... but the salt I added helped my weight jump a little)

so, new personal challenge for me.. I went 3 days without sweets.. now I'm going to try and go 4 days (till tuesday) without sweets.. it's always been a battle for me so, one day at a time :) here i go!

Still aiming for 137 next week... food plan today is as follows:

Oatmeal with raisins and banana on the side for breakfast
Cottage cheese cup for snack at work
PB&J when I get home
Orange for snack post-nap
Possible coffee.. we'll see how the nap went... lol
Pizza ( I only have 2 pieces max ) for dinner
Beer :P

I'm also planning to jog and lift weights today. And I want to go buy the Body Sculpting Bible for Women. :D

So, if I can get away with my weight staying the same, I'll be happy :) Also drinking lots and lots of water today :)

will someone give me a swift kick in the rear? I need to get it together if I want to drop these last pounds!! talk to you all later!

Krrpt HERE IS YOUR SWIFT KICK!!!!!! Because last night I wanted to have some candied yams from my local fish market. They are sweet potatoes but they are cooked the southern way with lots of butter brown sugar nutmeg (ok lets just say they take all of the healthy out) but I refrained because of the challenge to have minimall sugar. So although I am happy I got the string beans instead I am still rooting for you with your personal challenge and ours ! :)

I was good last night even though I ate out I had fish and string beans only I was so tired I didn't even eat the fruit I got. This morning though I had a pb&j I love those things yes on ww bread. Today my inlaws invited us over for seafood crab legs/shrimp so I will have some and salad.

Okay, just have time for a little catch up.  I am having my son's bday party today and I have to say the best part is all the added exercise I am getting trying to get the house ready. Between vacuuming, mopping (moving all the furniture around to do it too), and shampooing the carpet I am getting some major movement in.  I can say I did good yesterday with eating.  Had a mcdonalds salad and after comparing the calories in the dressing I had I realized that even with their creamy ceasars I was still well within my range for the day and got to indulge in a little taste.  Other than the HFCS that is in it i didn't do to bad. :) Today will be hard eating wise since its hamburgers and hotdogs and chips and soda.  Not that I will have time to serve myself an actual plate but the grazing is going to be aweful to log.  Ooh I know everytime I reach out I just think of trying have to log a handful of chips or whatnot and hope that helps curb the urge. :)

Oh and on drinking coffee straight -- I love it.  Don't get me wrong I LOVE cream and sugar also (and it has to be the real stuff, I can't stand artificial sweetners) but I grew up drinking Cuban coffee which is basically very strong espresso and sugar.  I had my own cup for afternoon coffee from the age of 2. :) So regular american coffee is very mild to me.  But coffee is one of the things I have cut out due to the caffiene.  I cut out all soda but if I have an influx of caffiene then I start craving a soda again.  I do occasionally have one, mainly if I have a craving I try to aim for a Coke Zero but I also notice that after a sip or two I am done.  It doesn't taste good anymore.  How funny about that since I used to live on pure soda.  Now its iced tea for me.  The caffiene in that now doesn't give me the cravings.

Okay have some balloons that need to be filled so hopefully tomorrow as I recover I can come here and catch up more!!  Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!!

lemn --- YUM, edamame!   I never see those in my market.  What section would they be in?   I will have to do both the things you gfirls suggested.....     I rediscovered hummus for my bbq last week and it rocked my world.   I made my own......     

Stacey!  =P   I'm with amaresmom.   ~~~~here's another kick in the butt!  (((HUGS))  take it to some little kid, make hubby take it to work,  I can not have real chocolate in the house. It calls my name and knows all my secrets.  I haven't skipped anything because of the challenge really or had too many temptations.  I guess that;s good.     COurse, we haven;t gone bowling this week, and I do have a hard time skipping (YES< I KNOW ---disgusting!)  their nachos. (BLUSH)  I've taken to packing a big bag of homemade, yummy chex mix to eat while there anyway.....    there's the nachos and the smoke in the alley that make me want to drink....it;s all tied together.  =P  I'm nuts....   oh and ktrppt --  try all the spicy yummy Mrs. Dash flavors on popcorn or cheese  sprinkling powder.   YAY!

housecleaning IS exercise -- sheesh!   have fun and be good, anje!  try and eat before you go and think about whatever delectable (calories known) dinner you plan for after..... I always ask if there is a smaller plate I could use....     And I do try to log party food.  That way I have to be honest with myself.  If I fall off the wagon, I wanna know how far off....      Hope your party is fun!  How old's the kiddo?

I took the chocolate eggs to work and donated them to the communal candy dish :) they should be gone in no time! now all that's left is really really good chocolate treats that I'll treat myself too after the challenge; they are some chocolate hazelnut things.. and a hershey's bar with butterfinger pieces in it.. ew.. another bonus today, I'm having a salad instead of a pb and j :) tonight is my way bad carbs night with the pizza and beer... but that's my escape... lol...

no cardio today.. I was operating a machine at work for 6 hours and it kept me busy enough.. going to lift weights and do homework.. gotta get moving! time's a wasting!

I ran my 5.5-6 mile route almost the whole thing, so I am tired but amped.  is that possible?  ( : 

I'm late with the weigh in...I did weigh in yesterday and was shocked to see I gained 1 pound! Then I weighed myself today and lost that pound plus .4...LOL

Not what I hoped for, but will take the .4 loss...Great job to everyone who lost weight...Hope we all have good results next week...

Hey ladies,

Tonight is the wrestle mania party please let me be able to make the food with out snacking doesn't WW have a term for that! I will put it in writing I will HAVE CABBAGE AND CHICKEN ONLY NO MAC N CHEESE AND CORNBREAD! I know a little leads to alot. Someone said what you eat in Private shows up in Public I have been saying that to my self all week.

Well yesterday was not so good... everyoen kept feeding me because I had various family here visiting at different times of the day. But Ive been so good about exercise that it ended up being ok. Its probably a lot easier to do this without my family around trying to feed me all the time (has anyone ever noticed how theres really nothing to do but go hang out in a restaurant? its annoying) 

So I had soup and salad at chilis and an appetizer combo at Applebees. But I did drink rasberry tea and water only. No pop! :) 

Today will be easier, as I have brunch here at school and then a dance class, a short time to have a quick dinner, and another performance of my dance concert. 

Wish me luck!
