***LOSE 20-30 lbs BY JUNE 1ST***please post info in new thread
I'm back and I would like to start another challenge. Last time when I did the "lose 10-15lbs" challenge, it helped me tremedendously -- I've actually lost 11 pounds during that month and a half. I haven't reached my ultimate goal weight yet, and therefore would like to propose another challenge to keep each other motivated. This time, I would like to challenge those interested to lose about 20 pounds by June 1st. June = SUMMER! We have exactly 17 weeks if we begin weigh-in's on this coming Sunday. 20 pounds in 17 weeks sounds like a reasonable goal right? YES, we can do this! I'll start:

Week 1 -- Together, we have lost 64.5 pounds/940.0 pounds. Go US! The person who has lost the most weight is *** kevin_k *** -- losing 7.5 pounds in just 1 week -- very nice. (I have to go now, job interview coming up, but I will update more -- and by the way, I'm quite impressed with the attendance for the first week and overall, everyone has done great. I'm thinking of a penalty for those who haven't lost anything this week..lol )
Week 2 -- We have an overwhelming number of participants at this point. The group will now officially close. I just want to give a big welcome to all those who have just joined us. Since we have so many people, I realized that I have made mistakes in numbers here and there. Please kindly correct me. Also, I would really appreciate it if everyone can post their weigh-in and how much they have lost since the challenge. Also, it would be great if everyone can just edit their original post when they weigh-in instead of making a new one -- it gets a little bit confusing for me. I see some of you guys already doing that and it has been really helpful. So thank you for that. After 2 weeks of no weigh-in, I will take your name off the list unless you let me know. Please correct me if I am wrong, but from what I have, the biggest loser for the challenge so far is: CHERRYWILD -- who had lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks, congrats. Everyone is doing great, keep up the hard work and motivation.

I'll join you! I don't think it would be good to lose 20 pounds for me but I know that if I aim for 20 I'll lose what I want to.

First, so glad to have you join the challenge. The challenge is pretty simple. We will begin our weigh in this coming Sunday, the 10th of Feb. Every Sundays will be weigh-in day. You can continue to edit your posts as each week passes. For example, you can make a list of all the weigh-in days and fill in your weights as the date arrives:
Feb 10: 117
Feb 17:
etc.
It's really simple. I will then update your total weight loss each week. I will help everyone keep track of how much weight they have lost. Let me know if you have any questions, though. Thanks for joining. All the best!

so happy to see so many joiners...i realized that there are some who are looking to lose more than 20 pounds by june 1st. we can think of 20 pounds as the minimum amount that we should all reach by june 1st
