Hey everyone! This challenge is for you if you want to lose 20 or less pounds by June 5th. Weekly weigh-ins on Fridays. Of course if you don't have time you can post later than that. Are you ready to get fit for summer?! :D I know I am.

 

NEXT WEIGH IN:       May 15th [FRIDAY]

FINAL WEIGH IN:      June 5th (for the most of us)

 

Form:

[date]: start weight

[date of weigh-in]: current weigh in weight

[date that you want to be at GW]: goal weight


add whatever else you want to like total loss and anything else you'd like but at least fill out the form above and I will update each week with everybodys weight like I have with mine below!

 

and if you'd like take a picture of yourself now and then one at you're goal date so we can see how each other did.[and so you can show off that hard work!]

I am really hoping that with the weather getting warmer I will be more motivated to exercise!  I started out at 190 in August, and have been doing really well losing at a slow pace, but I really want to get to my ultimate goal this summer, which is 145!

Yay. Me too! I turn 25 this May 22nd, then go to a reunion in August followed by a vacay with friends in Michigan, thus boats and bathing suits, nevermind wakeboarding and the pressure to perform! I need a challenge to soothe my nerves from all the worries and just look forward to the new hotness that is ME! (soon-to-be right?)

I am TOTALLY in to losing 20 by bathing suit season! I just got back from a long vacation and gained a bit so I need something to get me back on track.  My goal is a teensy bit over 20 pounds, but that should be okay, right?

lilygirl1970, I know right! Sure that's fine as long as you're eatin enough calories and not trying to deprive yourself to get there, I don't know how people do that anyways. More will power than me that's for sure...but maybe that's not a good thing :P Welcome to the group!

I need to post a correction for you... My goal wt. is 155  not 175!  I don't ever want to see that number again on my scale!!!

Don't worry...I'm totally into healthy weight loss. I'm currently eating 1500-1600 a day and exercising to burn 800cals 6x/week. I seem to manage to lose about 1.6 a week that way. Although in the past five days I've lost 3.6 of the 4.6 I gained on vacation. Thank goodness for that! Must have been a lot of water...or I revved up my metabolism doing all that eating.

well exercise wise I just want to say today was a good day. Went for a 30 minute walk this morning (at 6a.m.) ....plan on doing that every day before work.

and tonight went for a 1 hour hike and burnt over 1000 calories. Hopefully i'll keep it up.

...i know, food needs to be look after to! lol

Hi my name is Teri.  This is my second challenge I am really enjoying the other one I am in.  I'm currently working my butt off to get ready for a vacation this May.  My goal is to get into a swimming suit this summer rather than shorts and a tank top.

Hey! We're starting to be a real team! Welcome Terri and eliza!

How're you all doing with exercise so far this week. I did 45min on the ellitpical on Monday, nothing on Tuesday, but walked 4.5 miles in 69 minutes today (new record). 

Maybe we can figure out a group challenge for exercise. My goal is 45 minutes, 6 times a week - but I usually only get 5 days in :(

What goals do you guys have???

I could really use some tips on how to get myself motivated to go to the gym! How do you do it? I've got the calorie counting down... it's actually kind of become an obsession. Today a co-worker looked at me like I was crazy because I was counting my croutons! lol

I find myself trying to do at least 30 - 45 3 times a day, but oh my gosh, this week has been tough.  But, tonight, my son has baseball practice for 2 hours at a local school that has a track, so i will be getting in at least an hour of brisk walking.  i recently heard where a woman actually pens in her workout time in her calendar... i thought that was a great idea.  i realize sometimes my time has to be between 4:30am - 5:30 am or sometime after 6:00 pm at night, but there has to be time for me, right?

OMG eliza!!! 30-45 minutes, 3 times a day?  I thought I was doing good with 45min 5 times a week! YEESH! Are you training for something?

Eliza- Wow, I consider myself a morning person, but I can't even make myself get up at 6AM to go to the gym. DO you find yourself more motivated once you get started? I just can't seem to make myself do it! How do you get in 30-45 minutes 3 times a day? And Lilygirl way to go on the weight loss! I assume seeing the numbers on the scale are what keep you going.

This is the hardest part for me!  I just can't get motivated to exercise!  I do minor things like situps/pushups in the mornings, which do help....but I really do need to do cardio.  I just get so tired and can't find the energy to get off my butt!  I have to be at work at 6:45 and get home around 3:45.  I am usually sooo tired, I do nothing after I get home.  Maybe start walking now that the weather is getting warmer!  Is everyone ready for weigh in tomorrow???!!
