How to lose weight while eating chocolate everyday!
We all have chocolate cravings. And I don't know about you, but when I want chocolate, it has to be REAL CHOCOLATE. These snax allow you to eat chocolate EVERY DAY if you must (even if you are on a really low cal diet).
hershey's sticks- 60 cals each. Fairly small and not strictly health food, but better than a 220-calorie Hershey bar.
Cocoavia bars- a stick of solid chocolate for 100 cals. The crispy, chocolate-dreanched snack bars are 80 cals.
Healthy Choice Fuge Bars- when I feel like chocolate ice cream, I reach for one of these rich, creamy bad boys. (Pretty big, and only 80 cals/1 g bad fat).
JELL-O sugar-free pudding cups- the mint chocolate ones are fab, but (while not strictly chocolate), the dulce de leche ones ROCK. 60 cals!!
Caramel Nut Brownie luna Bars- 180 cals, BUT loaded w/ protein, fiber, and so many vitamins you may toss your multi. Gooey caramel, crunchy soy crisps and a coating of real chocolate make these a fave. Also- the Nutz Over Chocolate luna bar combines chocolate and peanut butter in ways that are unworthy of adjectives.

Thanks, a few of these will definitely go on my grocery list! I have that occasional craving too, and will no longer reach for a Reece's Peanut Butter cup! =)
yup! i need chocolate every day! i love dark chocolate though. i love the indivdually wrapped hersheys pure dark chocolate with dried blueberries and almonds or the plain pure dark chocolate...55 cals for one! not bad for such a tasty treat.
I loooove Cocoavia bars. Who needs candy bars when you've got those, seriously?
Are the Luna bars sugar-heavy? I'm diabetic and can eat sugar in moderation (typically no more than 5-10 grams for a sweet treat), but typically protein bars have a little too much in them.

it varies, but luna bars have 9-11 grams of sugar. Try half of one. They are large and 1/2 is just 85-90 cals and approx. 5g sugar. Don't forget all the protein, fiber and vitamins!
Ooh, I just checked out the website, and the sugar they use isn't refined, it's natural brown rice syrup and evaporated liquid cane sugar! Yay. I'm thinking of bringing these on vacation with me.
if they can keep a person out of the chocolate pecan pie (yes, that's one of the flavors!!!) they are worth taking anywhere you can face high-sugar temptation.
diet hot coco - 25 cals
Ive been craving cocoa the last couple nites... I bought some swiss miss diet cocoa today to enjoy tonite.... can't wait!
i loooove cadbury's highlights! i add an extra heaped teaspoon to make
it thick, so that's a super yummy mug of hot cocoa for 54 cals (if u
drink it with the recommended amount it's 40 cals)
I have to say that chocolate pecan pie Luna Bars are pretty much my favorite thing to snack on...ever! :)
Snack on, chocolate lovers, snack on

How about a tablespoon or Nestle semi sweet chocolate chips mixed with a handful of walnuts. Great pick me up with all the healthy benefits of both the walnuts and the chocolate! Enjoy!!!
My favorite things for chocolate once a day is Special K Chocolatey delight. I love love love it!
My chocolate indulgence each night is ONE Dove Dark Chocolate Promise, about 36 calories, and a small handful of walnuts. It's my dessert, and the Promises have a "promise" (rather like a fortune cookie) printed inside each foil wrapper. I have no issue with having only one, and I look forward to 8:30 pm each evening when I let one melt in the roof of my mouth as a reward for a day of good nutrition. (and I'm getting my omega-3s from the walnuts, too)
One more thing re: the Dove Dark Chocolate Promises. Once in a while, I also get my peanut butter fix with a teaspoon of PB tacked on the top of the Promise, but only natural PB without added fats or sugar. Even then, I pour out and discard the separated oil in the jar before I dig in.
I'm doing the low-carb thing and fortunately, don't crave chocolate all the time, but when I do - boy! One of my wonderful discoveries is the "Oh Yeah! Protein Wafer Bars." They come in three chocolate flavors - peanut butter, mint, and chocolate-chocolate, are 180 calories (2-90 calories sticks in each package), 2 grams of carbs, and only 2 grams of sugar each. No trans fat! They are made by ISS Research and can be tricky to find in stores. I usually order mine online through one of the health food stores.
They are absolutely scrumptious and completely addictive with a relatively low calorie count and almost miniscule amount of sugar!

In response to the Jell-o pudding comment in the original post -- while the mint chocolate ones are good, the BEST ones are the mocchiato flavored ones. (And I'm totally sure I spelled that incorrectly.) I can only find them at the super wal-mart. They are *divine*. =)
OK so i am in LOVE with the new 100 calorie pack foods...and hershey just came out with some I saw at the store when buying some slim fast....
If you're craving chocolate...try them! It was 2 dollars for a whole box....
They have wafer kind (to imitate a kit kat i believe) and a pretzel bar covered in chocolate (sort of like a Take 5 without the penut butter). They are SOOOO good! 14 carbohydrates...but trust me, if you're craving chocolate it's a good snack!

Dove sugar free chocolate square things are oh SO good and only 35 calories a piece. Vitalicious.com also sells vitaTop muffins that are chocolate w/ chocolate chips and DELICIOUS! These are full of vitamins and stuffed full of fiber and protein. By far my favorite is the chocolate banana <3 LOVE these things.
I bought Hershey's sticks yesterday for the first time. Are they ever delicious! I made sure to buy the dark chocolate flavour, as that is supposed to be the best for you in terms of chocolate consumption.
Chocolate ? Eaten in moderation, delectable dark chocolate made with at least 70% cocoa solids contains flavonoids (the same compounds found in red wine, tea and grape juice), and is a source of fibre and iron.
There is just enough chocolate in the package to give you that 'chocolate jolt'!

I like Chocolate or Chocolate Peanut Butter Clif Builder Bars. They have 270 calories, but they also have 20 grams of protein. So if I eat one for breakfast on my way to the gym (yes...chocolate for breakfast!!), the protein fuels my workout and keeps me full....and I get my chocolate fix all at once. They're also full of tons of vitamins!
