Hi everyone! I'm 14 years old and weigh 105 pounds and I'm 5'2. I really want to lose weight- about 10-15 pounds. I was wondering what the best way is to do that possibly by the end of the summer? Thank you!

You are at a very healthy weight right now, in the middle of your "healthy" range for your age and size. If you lost 15 pounds, it would put you at the very bottom of a healthy range, which, unless you are very fine boned, would not be healthy.
Since you are so young, and at a healthy weight, I would advise you not to worry about it, or at least see a doctor and ask her if you should lose weight. She would be able to do a body fat percentage calculation that is more accurate than anything you can find online, and give you tips on how to do things the healthy way.

you don't need to lose weight at all! Your BMI is 19.2 which is healthy for your height. If you lost 10 pounds your BMI would be 17.2 and that would prevent your body from developing properly and could do some damage in the long run. Eat when your hungry,stop when your full and for goodness sakes enjoy your young metabolism while it still works to your advantage! Message me if you need any more advice!
I suggest you start playing a sport or find some exercise/ activity you like. I agree with the people above, don't try to lose weight, but if you are not happy with the way you look, try becoming more active.
It has been shown over and over again that playing sports helps girls self esteem. If you are a healthy weight and not feeling great about how you look, sports could be a great way to feel like your getting exercise and making friends, getting confidence, etc.
I played volleyball, track, basketball, in high school, and lacrosse in college. If you aren't athletic, you could try an aerobics class, a dance class, or yoga.
Don't make it about losing weight, make it about being active.
