I was thinking today, and usually that leads to trouble, but this time I think I actually stumbled on to something. I believe that three main factors contribute to me not losing weight:
1. Lack of focus
2. No purpose
3. No deadline
I was thinking, I have a soft spot for charity... especially the March of Dimes because my niece almost lost her life to prematurity. If I was losing weight to help a cause I may be more driven and focused. If I was taking pledges per pound then it would also provide a deadline for me. So does anyone have any opinions or elaborations on this idea? Let me know.
I'm not completely sure of the details but i believe that show 'biggest loser' on tv has a program that donates food to the hungry, 1 lb of food for every lb lost.. i dont know the details or if there is money involved etc, but just a thought!
