I only wanted to lose weight from my hips, thighs and bum so i can fit into a size 10 again. All i seem to be doing is losing weight from everywhere else - my boobs have shrunk!
I know you cant spot reduce, but is there any thing i can do? I have no time for exercise due to work and a long commute home and a son to see to at home. So exercise is out of the question. Is this normal though? Will the rest of my body catch up?
Thanks

Yeah, that seems to be pretty common with pears. Thighs, Hips and Bum usually don't lose the weight quickly :p
Only thing to do, that I know of is.. be patient. And keep going :)

Patience and stick to it.
The rest of your body will catch up. Just give it time.

And, on the positive sides, if you do lose "The girls".. well.. I hear that smaller boobs tend to be more sensitive ;D

Hahahahaha....HK your a trip.
No, seriously, I DID hear this!
ok hk is right and let me explain why.....the heavier and bigger your breast are the more they hang and put stress on your never endings that sorround your nipple which causes a loss of feeling as they get small they lift and aren't pulling down the ending anymore which in some cases will cause more feeling.....sometimes though there is so much damage to the nerves that you just never get the feeling again....oh and I am not a dr but I had a breast reduction surgery and my feeling came back before the surgery i had no feeling at all.
How much would you have to lose? cause i've actually noticed that in my own chest this past week or so! That's amazing! I'm so excited now.
Shaana, You meant to say "I did stay at a Holiday Inn Select last night" :-)
Uh oh... another boob thread! =)~

Hooray for Boobies!
If you do chest building exercises (flies, pushups etc) It will help fill in the top part of your chest and actually it will look better. Though if you are very heavy or very large the losses will be noticeable. I went down two sizes after losing almost 30 lbs. Doing these exercises helped a lot. Unfortunately we can't pick where our bodies take the fat from. But I think after you start losing weight in the other sections it all becomes propotional.
Splitrail >> LOL..... Well y'know..... My partner keeps telling me I should try and understand her more or take things from if I was female *ponder*.
:) :) :)
:) :) :)
I know you stated that you have no time to exercise but pilates for 20 min. 3 times a week may help tone those lovely areas that persist on sticking around. There are some great dvds you can do at home. Morning is the best time for me before I wake everyone else up for the day.
i agree with hk, hooray for boobies!!!!!!
lol, well my boobies are fine for now. :) but im just curious, when does the TUMMY go away?! I've already lost 11 pounds with only about 8 more to go, and I think my tummy looks pretty much the same. (although I have lost an inch off waist)
Although you can't spot reduce - and unfortunately people tend to lose first in the one spot they don't want to - I was the same way. That said excercising is the only way to "firm" up those areas you want to look better.
Is there anyway you can wake up an hour earlier and work out. That is what I had to do and now find I love this alone time for me.
