this has happened to me more then once, i have been very solid and careful about my cals/sugar, and losing SLOWLY... then i accidentally binge, (night out with the girls or something).
the next day or two im all freaked out, return to my exact same regime, am SURE that i'll have gained a tonne, don't even want to calculate the cals that i hate... but i end having LOST weight...
has anyone else experienced anything like this, or can explain it??? i completely stumped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you probably boosted your metabolism. because after the binge, your body expected to burn the same number of cals the next day, but you actually ate less the next day, so it burned fat instead. i hope that makes sense lol. anyway, you can actually let yourself "binge" every other week just to boost your metabolism, as long as it's occasional and you don't eat like 3000 cals
I am really not a fitness expert or anything, but I'll tell you what I know a little about:

when you switch up your diet every once in a while it can help you lose weight. It's also possible that you might not be consuming enough calories and that you need to up your intake to lose faster.
The switch in diet helped.. idk how to explain this. You know: food is kindling to the fire your metabolism, well, and when you eat under your calorie deficient your not losing as fast as you could, when you eat more it helps speed up the process.
Maybe you exercised more than you did when you started and you need to up your calorie intake. That's all I got, I don't know much about this stuff.

zig zagging my dear! the best way to lose weight, only it doesn't necessarily have to be pizza and icecream...

That is exactly what happened to me over the weekend and last week, it is getting to be that time of the month and i just wanted to eat anything that wasn't nailed down...I didn't really binge but ate really bad choices ie. pizza, hot dogs and ribs and I've lost 1 1/2 pounds since Friday. I had really expected to gain a little due to water retention since I just am fixing to start so that may change over the next day or so though, who knows I just know the overall trend is going down and that is all I care about. I had been stuck at the same weight for almost two weeks and I am just glad that it moved down a bit. :-)
