This group is for those who have had eating disorders, addressed them, gained weight, but now find themselves weighing more than they did pre-eating disorder and are unhappy with their appearance. When people find themselves unhappy with their weight, they may feel tempted to revert back to the eating disorder. Losing extra weight after overcoming an eating disorder is extremely difficult. First of all, an eating disorder affects metabolism. In order to lose weight healthily, your metabolism must be fully restored. Second of all, dieting may trigger a relapse. A very big part of this group is offering support to other members in order to make sure that they DON'T RELAPSE. Overall, the main goal is to achieve a healthy weight while still eating a healthy amount of food.
