The past week, I've been losing feeling (cutting off circulation) in my arms, legs, feet, hands, much faster and easier... (ie- I sit of my knees- so my feet are under my legs- and 7 minute later, my feet have gone completely numb).
I've always had this problem (doctor just said it was poor circulation), but it never happened so... quickly. Like, before, it took a good 15 minutes before they went numb, now it's like half that time.
Any thoughts on how to better control it? (besides not sitting on my hands, feet anymore)

Anyone?
are you eating enough?
is your blood pressure low?
when you feel like something is going numb try moving it around and make sure that nothing is pressing on it (because it could block off blood flow)
Maybe making sure you are well hydrated??
You could possibly be deficient in Vitamin B12, you could be hypoglycemic, dehydrated severely - many reasons, many possible causes, but ultimately CC is not a doctor. And particularly given you are underweight and in recovery this is very serious. Go to your doctor again.
I KNOW I'm not dehydrated- I drinks tons of water throughout the day and my pee is clear...
I've seen my doctor, he knows about it and says it's just because of poor circulation... that I'll just have to live with it.
Hm... I know we do have a blood pressure instrument at home, I should check my blood pressure... I've always had low heart rate (I remember it was in the low 40's when I was anorexic, given it's not that low anymore, but it's still on the very low end). So that may be it.
Just wish my Dr. would maybe look into something.
hmm maybe you could see another doctor & and tell them about whats been happening. ask them about your blood pressure & heart rate and about doing a blood & urine test to check things like your electrolytes and for deficiencies. lalabanana is right that it could also be a vitamin deficiency. you might also consider getting an ekg to make sure your heart is functioning properly. eds can really cause a lot of damage to it.
when i was really undereating, my circulation was terrible because of everything in my body slowing down (including heart rate and blood pressure). my ed also caused my heart to shrink a little and harden which is why i still have some circulation problems. did you check your blood pressure? we have one of those at my house too, but sometimes they aren't very accurate. it's best to have a nurse or doctor do it.

That's what I'm scared of.
I just did blood and urine tests for sports physical (it was like, maybe three weeks ago) but still soon enough for anything abnormal to show up... and they came up normal.
