Losing inches but not weight?

Ever since halloween i've been losing inches, but not weight.

can anyone explain that?

i eat less than 1500 calories each day.

how can i lose weight?

I would love to read the response....my scale has been on a stand still but I am losing inches.
You are probally gaining muscle while loosing the fat.  This is what we call a nsv(non scale victory).  Remember muscle weighs more than fat.  If you have been dieting for a while and exercising, that's what i think is why you are at a standstill and plautauing.  Try either kicking up your exercise, water or eating plan.  What exactly is your day meal consisting of, give me a sample of what you had yesterday.
Muscle weighs the same as fat..You must be exercising and gaining muscle. Muscle is more dense and smaller than fat, but they weigh the same. The weight from muscle just takes up less room. So no worries, pay attention to your clothes more than the scale. The scale is an evil liar most of the time.

my periods are irregular.

This is what I would eat

B- oatmeal 1 cup cooked/ 1 cup kashi cereal with 1 cup of milk

L- turkey sadwich with lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber and a cup of 1% milk

D- baked chicken with two side order of veggies

S- yogurt low fat yoplait and a fruit
Oh, I weigh 197 pounds and I am 5 feet 10 inches tall and a female..I have loss 50 so far but I am at a stand still.

For exercises I would do tae bo....turbo sculpt with ten pounds weight

B- small glass of milk and a piece of bread.

L- rice w/ baked beans and boiled vegetables, a piece of fruit.

S- none/a tangerine, or apple or a piece of fruit.

D- rice w/ small piece of beef, boiled/fried vegetables.

this is all about 1300 calories.

i am strict on: no junk food, no food between breakfast and lunch, and no sugary drinks .

I fill up on only green tea/water.
