Losing the last 20 pounds Challenge
I want to lose another 20 pounds by October, so about 3 pounds a month. I hear the last 10 - 20 are the hardest to lose since you are already a healthy weight, so I'm making it my summer challenge. Weighing in every Friday and trying to make sure to hit a 3 pound lost every first of the month. Anyone want to join in?

I'm certainly up for this challenge. I need to lose 20 pounds by September 21. (Well hopefully before!) And I could sure use all the friends I can get in this! Have you recently lost a lot of weight? I ask because you said the "last 10-20" I have, I know this is how I feel... I'm already so much better off than I was... I really shouldn't have to work THAT hard should I??? hahaha, but I do. :) Besides, I want to look hot as hell on my honeymoon, and maybe break out my first ever 2 piece!!
Any particular reason you chose October?
I am totally up for the challenge. I am also looking to lose 20 lbs by October. I want to go to a family reunion looking drop-dead fabulous. My stats are 27, 5'2", cw:140, gw: 120.
Count me in. I am 5'5, 164 pounds, and I want to get to 144. I will re-evaluate there, and see if i want to do 130, But I am sure 140-144 is where I want to be.
I am in as well! This sounds like a great idea. I am 5'4 ish, 152 pounds (down from 163), and my goal is 130. Ideally I would like 125, but I'll see how I feel and look once I get there. I haven't been there for years! So we will weigh in on Fridays, starting tomorrow, the 9th?

Hi Ladies, I'm 5'2, 167lbs today(down from 186lbs) and my goal is 147lbs- 20lbs exactly! So I'd like to join too please- the more motivation the better!
My weigh-in is on a Monday though? I guess I could post on a Friday too as I weigh everyday anyway! LOL!
I'm in. I'm 28 (almost) 5'6 166 pounds, would like to be 140-145 so around 20 pounds. I've also started running again (1/2 Marathon plan) so I'm hoping it will help get the last 20 pounds off, I was 200 pounds almost 3 years ago and have maintained my current weight since then (fluxuated about 10 pounds, was as low as 153 when I was in the hospital last May, not a healthy way to lose weight), it's time to shed the last of it! Let's keep each other motivated!

Do the dead line has to be October.. Well I'm in.. If I get there before October that's cool too.. I've lost a total of 60 pounds since Mar of 2007-May 08
Now it's time to kick the last 21 pounds..

Week 2: 155.4 - 3.6 lb loss! I'm pretty sure I was retaining quite a bit of water when I posted last week... water weight is down, at least!

I appreciate having an accountabilty check in i.e weigh in every week. And I like your challenge of 3 lbs a month. I think I can do it.
I'm big on jogging with my doggie, but now my knees are killing me (doctor today). I feel like I know how to eat and count cals well enough that this it a lifestyle forever vs. a diet for me. I like working out. I am addicted to cc journaling and my posts. I just like this place. isn;t cc awesome?
