I have a beautiful 2 month old baby boy! Before I got pregnant I weighed 115lbs. and my goal is to get down to that size again. I also have a three year old boy and I lost my weight after him pretty quick. I am currently 145lbs. and am upset because of how big I am now and that none of my clothes fit. I have planned the same work out routine that I did after having my first boy, but the weight doesn't feel like it is coming off as fast this time around... If anyone has any advice, please share!!!!!!

amy - I just had my 3rd baby in December. I am 35 years old and it was MUCH harder this time. I was pretty much in shape and worked out throughout my pregnancy until the last month when I was on bedrest. I found that it just took a bit longer and I had to work harder. I started with the diet (food) and walking. Once I was physically up to it (about 8 weeks) I increased the workouts. Lots of cardio and eating veggies, fruits and lean protien.
Good luck to you :-)
Good luck to you :-)
I have a 7 month old (my second child) and I have lost all my baby weight but I am now trying to lose my 'trying to get pregnant with my first child' weight from after I got married in 2000. I am at 146lbs and my goal is 135... It is tough that is for sure! I have never been a stick or anything, but this totally sucks! I have been losing 1 lb a week and that is healthy they say, but can be frusterating. I have lost 8 lbs since I have started this about 6 weeks ago.
Hi - Well my son just turned 1 :o) after giving birth I weighed 204 (I only lost 10 pounds during the brith process 7 for Zach and 3 for fluids and etc.) I breast feed and remained active in the home but the weight didnt go anywhere - it had been very stubborn. After changing my lifestyle (becoming a calorie counter, joining a gym, and seeing a physician for assistance and advice) I am not down to 185. My initial goal is to get to 130 and if I still feel large or uncomfortable then maybe down to 115-120 - on and I'm only 5 feet tall. Anyway I wish you the best of luck I am hoping to reach my goal or at least get close to it before we get pregnant again. Best Wishes
My son just turned one as well. He is my second child. I am 5'2" and my weight shot up to 180 in my efforts to conceive my first. Mostly due to "oh, I should eat this for these two weeks, because I might become pregnant and not be able to eat it soon." Stupid habit.
I got my weight down to 185/190 after her (my daughter) when I became pregnant sooner than I expected with my son - not super early, but a month or two sooner than we were going to try again.
My weight went up to 215/220 or so by the end, I had him and then my wieght shot up to 240 (huge water gain that required a hospital stay to get rid of - I was starting to not be able to bend my legs and breathing was extremely hard). After that I went down to 205. With CC, I was able to get to 192 (let me tell you I was SO psyched), but I got sick and slacked off (now back to 196).
My husband and I are buying a Bowflex Revolution so we can workout and get cardio late at night when the kids are sleeping. I am also walking during lunch at work.
I am getting back on track. My goal is to get to 130 or so (plus or minus 5 pounds) by next spring. I'm still nursing, but the bad eating habits are a killer to any effort.
