I'm 5'5", and in the past month and a half I've gone from 142 to 133. needless to say I'm very happy, except today I checked and apparently my measurements (waist, hips, thighs, arms, everything) are exactly the same as when I was 9 pounds heavier. I'm eating around 1500 calories a day and doing mostly elliptical workouts with some cardio. What am I doing wrong? I like the overall weight loss, but wouldnt mind some smaller sizes..

Unfortunately, this is part of the arduous life of weight loss. If you just started dieting, give it a little while and you'll start seeing the inches zip away. If you've been on this weight loss regimin for a while and still aren't seeing changes in inches, you may need to watch your sodium intake. If you're eating too much sodium, it forces your body to retain water, hence less weight, more inches. Good luck and stick with it!

You could be losing inches evenly.  Like say, you lost 1/16 inch off of all the parts you measure.  So you could be getting smaller but you wouldn't be able to really tell a difference when measuring.

That's pretty much how I roll.  It sucks and it's discouraging but hey, at least we aren't lopsided.  Wink  Keep with it.
