Losing weight while conceiving

Quote  |  Reply

Hello! I am a 29 yrs old female from Pakistan. My height is 5'4" and my built is medium. I have been married for almost a year and i am trying to conceive. I have gained almost 30 pounds since i have been married and i have failed to reduce weight because i dont exercise. I need some help regarding my diet and what I should eat to lose weight. I am not a consistent person and at the end of the day i get depressed when i see myself in the mirror. Frown

I'd also like to know how to increase my metabolism. It is very slow. Cry

I would be really happy if someone can set up my diet chart for a week.

Thanks

Dear Amdee,

You made it to the right website.  It has so many great tools available to you.  I would start out determining my burn meter which will tell you how many calories you burn in a day.  It will also help you calculate how many calories you should eat a day.  Then I would go to the log and start filliing it out on a daily basis of what you want to eat.  I found by filing out the entire day I can see where my calories are going.  Also along the way you might find suitable substitues right their on the same page.  For example, I decided I wanted 2 fried eggs for breakfast when I was first starting this site, but I noticed that 2 hard boiled eggs had a better nutrition value then the fried.  So I did that instead and saved a few calories.  No one knows your taste in food better then you do and what you can happily live with.  Also because of your desire to conceive you need to be more aware then ever on the nutritional value of the food you eat not only for you but your future baby.  Well Good luck with the diet and the conception.

Dear Kim6406,

Thank you so  much for replying back. I will do exactly the way you have told me. Lets see how it goes. I have also added in my previous post that I dont have a faster metabolism. I need what to eat and what not to in order to make it faster.
