so when I first started out I was losing inches but I didnt lose any weight...but now I've lost weight 8 pounds, yet when I measured myself it said that I've gained a few back. Is that possible? whats with this mitch match? now I am on TTOTM, so I am bloating, but is this normal or even common. I"m really upset about this.I stopped doing pilates, but I still do cardio and I still eat healthy(obviously I am losing weight) how can you lose weight without losing inches?

well, if you've been working out, you may be gaining muscle, which weighs more than fat. That would explain gaining weight but losing inches. The eight pounds you lost could be water weight. Your TOM can really mess you up. I know I'm bloated like crazy for mine, to the point that I can't button a pair of jeans which are normally a little baggy on me. Try cutting out a lot of salt, because it makes you retain a lot of water. Drink lots to flush out your system, and don't stress so badly over it. Weigh yourself again after your period is over. And don't give into those TOM cravings! Good luck!
too late not to give in to cravings. I just had a few spoons of cream cheese frosting(i love frosting)
But how could I now be losing weight and gaining inches? when I was working out in the begining I wasnt gaining weight, my weight didnt change for like 3 weeks but I was losing inches, and I know how that could happen i guess, I lost fat but gained muscle.

maybe I shouldnt even look at myself till after my period is over. That wont work because my birthday is today...now I have to figure out what I'm going to squeeze my fat a*s into now
