Since losing weight did your hormones...

Quote  |  Reply
I only had a few pounds to lose(20), but in losing them I've found that I feel more sexy, seems like my hormones have just gone through the roof. I mean i look at myself in the mirror and I think "someone should be enjoying this", lol. Maybe I'm just being silly. So, since losing weight have any of you notice you're hormones shoot through the roof? I'm not talking about libido or stamina, that's your own personal business, but just the desire to want to have sex? (for those already active have you wanted it MORE, since weight loss?)

yes, but I think it's as much because of my age as my weight loss

Wink

Yes, it has but I think that has a lot more to do with my confidence level skyrocketting.  There used to be a time when I only had sex five times a week and ever since losing weight, Alex and I enjoy eachother's company a minimum of eight times a week and that doesn't include when I have sex for a workout.
I've always had a high-ish one, but I think it has gotten even stronger since losing weight.  However, my boyfriend has a very low sex drive, so I rarely get what I want anyway...so it may just seem like it went up since he is never interested!!

*sigh*
Thanks for the input, this just sucks right now Yell I hope it passes soon.
I'm almost 42 and find with just the little weight that I have lost I do have more stamina and I don't feel so self-conscious either when I'm naked now.  My husband doesn't seem to notice- he's almost 50 and still would like more sex then I give him. (we are weekend people...usually just either Friday or Saturday night...) I do have a weird question though re: orgasms... I hope not too much TMI- but this weekend when I had them- everyone of them I felt a weird "twinge" in my side- up by my ovary... Has anyone else had this happen? It kind of took away from the orgasm though cause it kind of hurt... Just wondering... I do have an "annual physical" scheduled for Thursday and was planning on asking my doctor but thought I'd get some feedback before I went...

ROFLMAO!! but yeah, i'm with you. i feel better about my body and i just look sexier. but even if i'm not in front of a mirror, i do get "that feeling." i can't believe i'm gonna put this down here - like, the last two weeks, it's just been unbearable. and i don't have a boyfriend right now, so this is super difficult to deal with. some things a girl can't take care of herself (completely). that's really the reason i'm trying harder than ever to find a good relationship. so i can blow off some of this steam, b/c i'm totally not into casual flings.

you need a good "artifical friend..." My husband bought me one as a joke and sometimes he regrets it! Ha ha....
