It's only been a week! Do you think you ate 17,500-35,000 extra
calories? Unlikely. You may well be up a pound or two,
maybe bloaty from salt and perhaps other indulgences.
Look back at all the fun you had, smile and laugh with all the good memories and hop back on the wagon. Everyone's healthy lifestyle should have built-in wiggle room for indulgences.
Be gentle with yourself, you had fun! Now just focus on today, and tomorrow focus on tomorrow.

renekane is right. The secret to successful weight loss is NOT doing everything right every day -- it's getting back on the wagon every time you fall off.
beating yourself up about it is self-defeating, so cut it out.

Also, lets say the scale does show +10... it's very likely to be fluid retention (for the most part) from all of the prepared foods. Drink water water water and that will help too. :) Keep your chin up. Kelly
Sometimes, you have to face the music to move on.
No point being scared. No point hidding from it.
Step on the scale, see the gain in weight, think about why you did it and adjust for next time.

Check it out...been there done that. I went to Florida and gained ten pounds, but they were gone in a week. It's not a real gain so dont freak. They will slide off as quickly as they came as long as you get back on track.
i used to do the same thing when i would vacation with my boyfriend. i thought for sure i gained weight and felt horrible about it forever. i made myself get on the scale, and every time i would lose 2 pounds! I guess running around being active the whole time made me drop the weight. pleasant suprise.
dont let the scale scare you. not weighing yourself will only set you into denial and you'll gain weight. its proven that people who weigh themselves more lose weight faster than those who rarely weigh. so dont be scared! I'll hold your hand :)
