Lost 5 pounds but now I just don't feel the same "drive" to lose weight?
So, I've lost about 5 pounds so far, and I can't explain it, for some reason this week I just haven't had it in me to lose weight. I haven't gone out of control or anything, I just have wanted to eat maitenance calories these past 4 days. I know it's not a big deal, but to me it is...because getting to my goal weight is so important to me, personally. I have about 26 pounds to go. Has anyone ever experienced this, or do you have any advice on how to get pumped about losing weight again?
First, congratulations on losing your first 5 pounds! That's great!
Now, think of how it made you feel when you stepped on the scale and saw that you lost 5 pounds.
Ok, NOW think of how you would feel if you step on the scale and gained 10 pounds!
I hope this helps...keep up the great work and say "bye-bye" to those pounds!
HO. MY. GOD. I could have post that myself, I'm SO in the same situation. I've been dieting for a month and I lost 5 pounds. I feel better but still have at least 20 to go to be really satisfied. However, it seems that this week I'm just like "whatever". I still have to same desire to lose weight, but not the same drive to make the efforts, especially not eating less...
Maybe our bodies and minds need a little break before to focus on our goals again?
