Lost my first 5 pounds!!
I started here on April 28th and i weighed 252, this morning i got up May 29th and i weigh 247 now!! :) It's an accomplishment for me anyways i want to lose it slow so i dont gain it back. I am so happy i feel like it's a great start!!

Isn't it exciting when you finally hit that 5 lbs mark! I recently hit it as well and was almost jumping for joy. I started my diet about the same time you did. I can honestly say I'm happy with 5 lbs in a month! I hope you are too!

Yes i am thrilled Stacy!!! I am so happy the scale is finally budging!!! I incorporated a mini trampoline in to my workouts plus still walking too. :) I can't wait to get to my goal!!

big bones, i said my first reachable goal would be to get to 245 and i am almost there!! Then hopefully get under the 200 mark would be another goal but here lately 5 pound marks is ok with me!! :) Thanks for the support!!

Weight Watchers goals are like the first five pounds you get a star then you get one for each 5 you lose if i recall correctly. :) So i figure 5 pounds is a nice figure to start with. I told my hubby if i reach certain goals maybe buy me some workout clothes instead of baggy clothes!! LOL

Hey, me too! I started at the beginning of May and took off five pounds by last week. I haven't lost another yet since I pretty much ate maintenance over the weekend and that sure felt like a treat! Back on the wagon this week though and I hope to take another 5 off before my beach vacation in 2-1/2 weeks. I usually lose weight on that trip too since I walk a lot and tend to eat healthy at the beach. Weirdness, huh?
I went out and freshened up the summer wardrobe over the weekend and it felt really good to be comfortably back in my size. Those five pounds were straining the seams! Five more will have them with a little room to spare. I also got back into my jeans, which I hadn't worn in months. Another 5 pounds and they'll actually be comfy.

It is a lot more enjoyable buying new clothes because the old ones were too big than buying new clothes because you're getting bigger. As a guy, I made a habbit of making marks on my belt where the two ends met and eventually I needed a new, shorter belt.
Just don't get frustrated if next month the scale only drops 1 lb. If you're doing trampoline exercises and cardio, your legs, core, and other parts of your body are building some muscle. You might lose only 2 lbs on the scale in a month but really have lost 5 lbs fat and gained 3 lbs muscle... and muscle on a female body is healthy and very attractive (to a certain extent of course).
Yeah dcyounts i can tell i building muscle too. I am starting to look thinner and my clothes are getting baggy!! Yeah!! I have always been told when you don't think 5 pounds is a lot go pick up a bag of sugar!! :) Im on my way hopefully!!
I know for a fact too im losing inches too!!

hi clarice! you will be losing more and more, trust me:) been there, done that, lost 55 pounds of about 130 lbs i need to lose.
