lost my first 7lbs :)

Quote  |  Reply
Hello,

i'm happy today, i've consistently eaten well for almost four weeks now and i have lost 7lbs in total.  i realise im actually doing this! i used to think 4/5months to loose weight was too long but the times going to go anyway so i may as well do the best i can each day.

This month i plan to exercise more, i do some but i could do with pushing myself more.

Hope other people are enjoying there own success :)

Congratulations! That's a great weight loss speed and is pretty sustainable -- slow and steady wins the race (the weight loss race, not athletice races... :-D
Well done, that's a great achievement!
Congrats!

that's a little over 1.5 # a week and really great.  The better I do, the more it motivates me to keep trying.

And you're right........the months will go by regardless.  When I complained about getting a degree and being so old a professor said, "how old will you be if you don't get the degree"
Good job!! It seems hard at first, but once you get going, and the weight starts to drop off (even if it does take months) it's a great feeling to know that you're actually getting closer to your goal.
I'm proud of you! I know you will continue to do grt-8!
thank you for your comments. it will take a while but i intend to get there! i dont mind if it comes off slowely as long as it comes off eventually!
Keep up the good work!
Grats on the amazing weight loss!  Keep it up!  :D
congrads...im excited 4 u. the 1st few ibs r motivators
That's great! Remember in the future there's times it will go slower but always look at how far you've come to stay motivated!
Fantastic!

Good to hear, it motivates me to see people post there results and they are happy with them.

Me too Matt, i like it when people share there success it really helps motivate me and it reminds me that im not alone in this.
great work! I reaced a milestone of my own today! I turned 20 yesterday and after i had decided almost 2 months ago to start dieting when i reaced 18st (252lbs), i weighed myself this morning.... 17st exactly! Was well chuffed! Best birthday present i got!

Go back 2 uni in 2 weeks tho, but now i have changed my eating habbits i'm confident that i can not only keep the weight off but keep going as well... even with the odd drink! Luckily i'm 6ft 3 and a large fame so i can apparently eat about 3500kcals a day and just maintain weight... does ask the question what the hell did i do to get so big if i can eat that much and maintain! anyway. i'm off track. Just thought i'd share my sucess with yours and we can celebrate together... with a glass of water, and apple and 30 mins on the exercise bike! PARTY!

: )
