Ive really lost 25# since the beginning of the year. But 15# since I joined CC and started eating healthy.  Every Morning I go to the back bedroom closet and find something I can wear that day, Either some thing old or something new with tags still on it, that I knew I would be able to wear some day. LOL

I also took a big garbage bag of mostly jeans, some hardly worn at all, in to town to give away. I still have almost 70# to go. But this is feeling good this time. It seems like every time I lose a pound or too, I want to exercise even more.

To anyone just starting, give it a chance, It will work.

Great job!  Keep it going.

Remember that as you start losing the pounds, the rate of loss probably will slow down.  Right now you're at about 3 lbs per week, but 1-2 lbs is really recommended unless you're under the care of a doctor. Having said that, it's not unusual for people who have a lot to lose to lose more at first and also that water weight which comes off so rapidly at first.  1-2 lbs/week gives your skin a chance to adapt to the new you. 

Way to go! Doesn't it feel good to give away your old clothes?

We have a lot in common I too lost 15 lbs since joining CC, have fallen back in love with my closet, and yesterday filled a donation bag of clothes that are (he, he) too big!

Great job!  I just started on here on Saturday.  So far so good, it is easier to keep up with and I can do it from anywhere.  Just out of curiosity how many calories to you eat a day.  I am on a restrictive diet by my doctor right now.  Only eating 1200.  I haven't made it to 1200 yet, but have only gone over by about 100 to 150 calories, but have really up my exercise then.

25 lbs is amazing. Great job.

I lost 13 in a few weeks. I think most of it was water. Now I am losing at a slower rate. 

 

I am also a 15# loser since the first of the year. 

I have also started slowing down to 1-2 a week in the past 2 weeks.  That is okay, since I don't want all that excess skin left over.  I was worried at first that I was losing too fast. 

CC is terrific. 

Laughing Good job my friend!.....Im leaving today to get weighed in Geez I hope I lost =( Ill let you know on my jornal ....By the way I may be alittle farther than you so alittle hint? keep a pair of your pants so when you get down you can jump in one leg and take a pic....I try mine on when ever I feel this is never gonna end and than it helps me feel good and motivated! Im getting one of my girls to take a pic tonight than I am printing it to put on my fridge...in case of one of those days ...keep up the good work hon!
When I started CC said 1450 Calories. I very seldom made it that goal, but close. Then I found out I was a inch shorter than I thought I was, So CC said 1350 Calories.  I actually did much better at meeting that goal. Then I lost 15# and now CC says 1200 calories a day. I have no problem meeting that goal at all. Some days when I have to much burn meter deficit I add 100 to 200 calories or so. I'm on a little plateau right now, but not for long.Innocent
