My family doctor nearly fell off his chair when I walked into his office on Thursday. I have now "officially " lost 65 pounds since January 1st; from 247 to 182 today, it was my New Years resolution. I feel great, lighter on my feet and the men's heads are turning again for the first time in over 15 years! I have so much energy that I dug up, weeded, hoed and planted a 40' X 40' garden in three days. I have a sore back and shoulders but running up and down the back hill has given me calves of steel. What is really awesome is feeling my RIBS! I actually can feel my ribs and my hip bones, and my ankles are getting so dainty! Also, for the first time in years I bought pants that weren't on the plus size rack! That is another story because the humilitation attached to standing in front of rack of clothing with a big pink "PLUS SIZES" sign is an experience that I can do without. I still have a few more pounds to go but I am so pleased with my progress. By the way my doctor says I am doing it "perfectly" with healthy choices of food and getting more active. Thanks CC+!!
congratulations! That's so great, you must be enjoying life so much more!
good for you!!!!!![]()
wahoo! Congrats! Don't you have any before/after pics for us?! We love that kinda stuff ![]()
you rock!
Way to go!
Congratulations!
Congratulations! What a wonderful success story! I don't know if you are at your GW yet or not, but you are already reaping the rewards of feeling better and being able to look better in "normal" size clothing.
I'm still a plus size (18W) but hope within short to also wear regular sizes. I have found that lots of plus sizes have a strange fit ... big wide pants legs, huge arm openings on the tops etc.
Keep up the good work!
stories like yours inspire others to keep going...
well done!
